Jannat Indian Cuisine is undoubtedly my favorite Indian restaurant. It offers an extensive menu with a wide range of options, including delectable choices for both vegetarians and vegans. As someone who isn't Indian, I can confidently say that the food served here is truly wonderful.
The service at Jannat Indian Cuisine is top-notch. The waitstaff is consistently attentive and goes the extra mile to ensure a pleasant dining experience. On one occasion when the kitchen made an error with my order, they promptly rectified the situation, highlighting their swift responsiveness. In terms of waiter service, this restaurant surpasses all others I have visited.
The ambiance of Jannat Indian Cuisine exudes an air of luxury. The decor is tastefully done, creating an inviting atmosphere that is perfect for gatherings and meetings. Moreover, the restaurant's cleanliness is commendable, as it ranks among the cleanest establishments I have ever dined at.
Considering the value for money, Jannat Indian Cuisine offers reasonable prices, especially when you consider the generous portion sizes. The fact that they provide refillable rice is a delightful touch, so be sure to arrive with an empty stomach and an appetite for indulging in their flavorsome dishes.
One aspect that sets Jannat Indian Cuisine apart is its consistency. Having frequented this restaurant on numerous occasions--over ten times, to be precise--I can confidently say that it never disappoints. They consistently deliver on the qualities I mentioned earlier, ensuring that each visit is as enjoyable as the last.
To summarize, Jannat Indian Cuisine is my go-to Indian restaurant. With its mouthwatering food, elegant ambiance, cleanliness, reasonable prices, and ample portions, it checks all the boxes for an exceptional dining experience. I wholeheartedly recommend giving Jannat Indian...
Read moreSee update below I found the food extremely bland. If i didnt get it spicy it wouldnt have any taste. U can see the white inside the chicken like it wasnt marinated at all making it even more tasteless. The restaurant interior was extremely well renovated but just having a nice setting isnt good enough. Stop being so stingy with the essential spices when cooking. The little bit extra care and preparation and ingredients in the cooking will pay off when customers flock to your establishment. Indian food needs flavor. The butter chicken tasted nothing like butter chicken and tasted almost identical to the rogan josh which also tasted nothing like rogan josh. Tasted like it was cooked with little haldi powder and little curry powder and nothing else. Sooo tasteless. I couldnt even finish the food and my kids couldnt either. I have gotten about 6 different dishes and they all tasted almost the same! The food will need improvement if you want your business to succeed.
update** July 2022 I have returned a year later to this restaurant to give it another try since I last posted and returned several times after that. The food has completely transformed. It’s amazing and is now on the top of the list for some of the best Indian food I have had. And the prices are very reasonable for what you get in comparison to so many of the other Indian restaurants in Richmond that keep raising prices, lowering portions, and dishing out inconsistent food. There were many servers when I walked in all eager to assist you and friendly. It’s obvious this restaurant is on a mission to serve amazing food and good prices and offer top service. I appreciate the comment from the owner to my previous rating and so glad to finally have an Indian restaurant like this in my area where I can get such tasty...
Read moreWow! One of the best Indian places I’ve been to and one of the best restaurants in Richmond hands down for any type of food. Impeccable service, incredibly friendly, timing was perfect and we never asked for anything because they were attentive and offered everything we needed before we could ask. The atmosphere is great, cozy but modern, very clean and well decorated. Now the food. I’m not an expert on Indian food but I’ve worked in restaurants and know when things are coming out well. Best food in Richmond area for sure. The flavors are on point, even down to the tamarind sauce not being too sweet. Everything was well and distinctly spiced. Each item on vegetarian appetizer platter was so good and not overrun by fried flavor- the spicing again excellent and distinctive. Even the naan-perfect amount of fluffy and crispy. Bhindi is one of my favorite dishes and this is about the best I’ve had it to my memory. The Chicken tikka masala also amazing. Again their flavors of everything is so good- delicate and interesting yet fully present and robust at the same time. Also ample serving sizes! Had plenty to take home. Truly the best restaurant I’ve been to in Richmond since I’ve lived here (3 years+). If you have not been here yet you are...
