The experience my friends and I had today at this location was the WORST service and attention I've had at any restaurant in my 35 years. Where to start...
4 people in our party sat down at 3:45 and ordered drinks (water, iced tea, and 2 beers). My boyfriend and I got there around 4:00 and they still had not gotten their drinks. When she took our drink order finally, their drinks still weren't there. We finally got all our drinks around 4:05 and was ready to order. The waitress came back like 5-10 minutes later to tell us that they were changing servers and we got another waiter. He took our orders and left to put them in the system. Another friend showed up around 4:25 and the waiter came back and she placed her order.
We were sitting until 5:00 and still did not have our food. We had all ordered a variety of items - wings, wedges, corn dogs, etc - and received nothing. I finally went to go ask if they would check on our order and they said that the food was ready, but they were waiting for the last person's food to be done to bring it out. So our food was sitting there while a quesadilla was being made. We finally got our food out around 5:10, but for some reason, he only put like 5 items on a tray at one time. So it took about 4 trips to bring us our food. AND he missed many items. I ordered wings with blue cheese and celery, corn dogs to share, and wedges with mayo on the side. NONE of my dippers came out so I was waiting to eat any of my food. I had to hunt him down to get my stuff I asked him for the dipping sides and he forgot the blue cheese and celery. It took me hunting him down again to get my blue cheese and celery.
He took forever with our check (we told him just to bring 1), was never attentive during eating as we had many empty water cups, and was the most soft-spoken waiter ever. We couldn't hear him at all.
In the entire BW3, there were only 11 occupied tables. We saw at least 7 staff just hanging in the kitchen chatting, at leaat 5 more just walking around, and I think 2 behind the bar. It should NOT take 1 hour to get our food, and we shouldn't have to flag down someone to refill our drinks when the last time they stopped by was 30 minutes ago.
Since they were waiting for the quesadilla order to be done, even when it was placed 15 minutes after the initial group order, some of our food was overcooked and definitely tasted like it sat out for a while...it was not hot, more room-temperature. He should've let us know they were waiting for that order to be done before he brought our food.
I have heard similar reports from friends who have been to this location in the past - the slowest service. One Tuesday they placed an order for wings about 30 minutes in advance of picking them up and we're told they would be ready. They got there about 30 minutes after they ordered and the wings were not ready until about 45 minutes after they got there. I understand that wings Tuesdays can get busy, but when your specialty is WINGS and you say they'll be ready in 30 minutes...they should be ready in 30 minutes, not 1 hour 15...
Read moreIf I could have giving them no stars i would have. My daughter asked me to take her to buffalo wild wings to get some wings. First we called but no answer. So we left my office to take her and asked her to get me 10 as well. I didn't think I needed to check them because when I get them from the Chester location never a problem. When we got back to the office she started eating hers and we noticed 2 of her wings were dried up that when you try to bite it would crumb and it was so hard if your teeth was weak they would come out. So shortly I opened mines and I thought mines were ok but 6/10 of mines was the same so at first I wasn't going to complain but I thought about it. I just wasted my money. I threw them away. So I called the store and asked for the manager...Bryce came to the phone and I explained the situation. He simply told me they been cooking wings all day. So he didn't see how. I'm saying like are you serious. He told me to bring them back like he puts gas in my vehicle and if I was lying. If the wings were edible I wouldn't be complaining. Bryce told me it's nothing he could do anything about it. I was already tired when I brought my daughter up there and we don't live in this side of town and I had some work to be done. Any one knows if you are in business you don't have time to run behind no .60 wings, you just want it right because you paid for them. When I told Bryce I'm going to contact headquarters he did care. Plus I didn't want them replaced this time because I was sleepy. Didn't apologize. I don't appreciate him implying I was lying. So I will not be coming back to the West Broad location ever again. When something is that nasty I never thought I had to keep them for proof to prove I'm not a liar. Plus I was tired. Instead of jumping to the conclusion I wanted free and apologize would have been and said I will check it out....thanks for calling and let me know. People work hard for their money and don't have time for waste. Some people aren't meant to be in management and this is a clear picture of it. So Bryce headquarters will be getting the call today because the damage control started with you. So Bryce you got you 10...
Read moreThis place is ok. I have been here several times now and I am usually satisfied. Sometimes though, the food is incorrect. On two occasions now, the wrong sauce was used on my wings. Sauce is used very sparingly and my wings come out looking dry. Overall the food is enjoyable but the prices are far too high for the quality that is delivered.
About a week ago, I placed a large delivery order for a party and it was stolen. When I tried to get into contact with BWW, they told me I had to contact doordash, even though I did not place the order through doordash. (It was placed on the BWW site) It took about 30 minutes before I was finally able to speak to the manager and explain my situation to her. Thankfully I was able to get a refund but it felt too little too late. I really wanted to have my food re-delivered but was told that it was not possible. I decided to come in person for dinner that night and had a good time. The waitress was very friendly and even brought me free ice cream for my birthday.
Since then, I have returned for another in-person visit and walked away disappointed. It took a very long time to order. My server seemed busy, but it also felt like he was spending considerably more time with the table in front of us. I watched him take their order, then he came to our table. I asked if I could go ahead and order everything, since by this point I had been sitting for about 10 mins, was really hungry, and I just wanted some food. The response? “I need to put in these other food orders first, but I can take your drink order now.” It was strange to me that he couldn’t take my food order. I had to wait considerably longer before I could order my food. After I finally ordered, got my food, and ate, I got the bill and saw that the prices were much higher than I was expecting. Cocktail prices should be on the menu, I wouldn’t have got a drink if I knew this little weak...
