Don Eduardo's Mexican Grill is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic Mexican cuisine, especially during lunch hours.
I recently stopped by for lunch and was thoroughly impressed by both the food and the overall experience. The lunch specials are truly a highlight here—they offer an incredible variety of dishes at unbeatable prices, making it easy to enjoy a delicious meal without breaking the bank.
I opted for the enchiladas, and they were nothing short of amazing. The tortillas were soft and perfectly filled, with a savory blend of meat, cheese, and spices. The accompanying sauce was rich and flavorful, with just the right amount of kick. Each bite was a burst of traditional Mexican flavors that made the dish stand out from other places I’ve tried. The portions are generous, leaving you full and satisfied, but not overly stuffed.
The atmosphere at Don Eduardo's is warm and inviting, with a cozy, family-friendly vibe. The décor is colorful and festive, adding to the authentic experience. The staff was attentive and friendly, making sure that my meal was perfect from start to finish. They were quick to offer recommendations and ensured that my dining experience was enjoyable.
Beyond the food, the restaurant also has a nice selection of beverages, including traditional Mexican drinks like horchata and tamarindo, which pair wonderfully with the meals. I noticed that many of the other diners seemed to be regulars, which speaks volumes about the quality and consistency of the food here.
Overall, Don Eduardo's Mexican Grill exceeded my expectations. It’s rare to find a place that offers such high-quality, authentic Mexican food at such reasonable prices, especially during lunch. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, Don Eduardo's is definitely worth a visit. I’ll certainly be returning to try more...
Read moreI have come to this restaurant many times before and have never had an issue when orring my food over the phone. Today, Jorge at the front desk charges me for the dinner sized nachos as compared to the lunch ones though I called in at 1 o'clock, and lunch specials were not over until 3 o'clock. When I went in to pay and he told me the price, I asked him why it wasn't $9.99. He runs my card and says it's $12.14 something because the menu. I picked up the menu that was there and I asked him if it was new and he said yes. I asked him how much the nachos are now and he gives me my card with the receipt and he says they're the $12.14 something because they were the dinner size. I told him that I called in during lunch and I wanted the lunch once. He said that since I didn't tell him he went ahead put in the large. I told him that was not right because I'm calling during the lunch hour and he repeated to themselves. I told him that I come in there all the time and that I've never had that problem with the other man who's usually there. I told him that I will not be back. This is ridiculous to 1st know that it's during the lunch hour and to not even ask or to automatically charge for the higher price. Number 2nd, he lied to me and said that the menu was new and then after I questioned further about the price then he admitted that he charged me for the identified spirit that is not acceptable and I will not be back nor will I Recommend this place to anybody else. That was just wrong. And as I'm leaving he starts speaking Spanish to the lady standing there call, not knowing that I understand Spanish. I turned back and reiterated to him that it was not right and I will not be coming back. Very disappointed in Jorge thinking its acceptable to lie and charge be slick with putting the dinner order in for...
Read moreI started coming here, when the Mexican restaurant down the street “Monterey” on Lavista across from Popeyes started coming across as racist.
I’ve always enjoyed the food and drinks here, never had an issue as I usually come after work sometimes. I decided to step in for dinner Friday 9-22-23 with my daughter and granddaughter. As I set towards the front, I noticed the staff all looking out the window onto the “patio” which sat, a young black male and other young black adults. The staff seemed very annoyed, I kept watching to see what the problem was but I could see no problem as it was just a crew of young black people patronizing the business ordering food and drinks.
The staff started making me feel uncomfortable as I felt they were racially profiling their young “black” guest. One staff male with short hair, almost shaved seemed VERY annoyed almost like he was ready to fight. If you’ll do not want young black people on your patio, thinking they may not pay or you just don’t like young black people then please say that because they’re so many Mexican restaurants in the area, more options then we need and they will not patronize your business.
The lady even kept watching me as I sat with my check and was finishing my drink, I felt the need to hurry up with my drink and pay. I don’t like feeling like that and I never saw them treating the white guest in that way. It’s so strange because half the area is black, it’s the whites who don’t want you’ll here in the USA, they just want to eat your food but get treated like gold lol. If I witness something like this again, I will never come back because what happens if my 21 year old twin sons decided to come and sit on the patio ? Are they going to watched...
