I came into the store today 5/10/24. I've been coming to this location since it opened. I am a regular and come about once a week. There are some friendly workers there but on the management level not so much. There was an occasion when there was a member of corporate who came in for whatever reason. When the lady from corporate was there wearing a red shirt, the usual two who happen to be very rude actually spoke to me.
I was shocked. I didn't think they would speak. I received very good service that day and was shocked. I asked some of the other employees who was that lady who came in because usually I don't get eye contact or talked to by management. I did share this with a couple of employees that work there. It's not a big deal whether they speak or not because I'm there for lunch not a relationship. The crew members shared this information with I know atleast one of the Managers of the store.
While I waited today to get my usual, I hear the General Manager talking about he don't know me and all this foolishness. Mind you it's been over a month since I made that statement and have seen this General Manager of this location (Sabrina) I believe since then. We continued on while cooking my meal. When she called my order #25, she looked at me while handing over my order asking me do I have a problem with her. I'm like excuse me? She then said you said that I don't speak. I said, you don't. She says that's a lie and you're lying on me.
All this foolishness about she's the first one to greet people and she can see people with her back turned. My point! If you can see someone with your back turned when coming in the store, how come I can never hear you? Besides that I get a lecture on how many restaurants she's been over. I'm not impressed. Never have been. Mind you other customers are witnessing this as well as her staff. I addressed her unprofessionalism.
Which she didn't care because she feels like she needs the last word. I told her that her customer service skills suck and I don't come here for her I cone for lunch. If you don't like my truth on my experiences when I dine there, do better! My experience is my truth whether ypu agree or disagree. Instead I get the angry woman who saying I'm lying on her. I was disgusted I threw away my food. She made my food too. So I'm good.
She told me I could tell her District Manager or Boss and gave me his name. I asked for her name in which she gave it to me. She also said the interaction was all recorded and I hope it is. You're behavior and interaction with me needs to be seen from the corporate level and you need to find something else to do. This isn't it for you. I already called corporate so I'm waiting to see how this plays out. It may be better for others who come and dine going forward if she's still there. Who is she to accost a paying customer? Where do you get off thinking you talk to someone like you are big and bad in a work establishment.
Most people would leave this alone and let it go, I'm sorry I feel you (Sabrina) need to be held accountable for your lack of professionalism and I am sure that this is repeated behavior. In closing, if you don't like someone's truth or experience with you, there's a way to talk it out. Unfortunately, you're not civilized enough to do so.
Hopefully it's going to be corporate with a response or rebuttal and not the actual General Manager who's going to lie and tell their version of the story. You did what you did and said what you said in front of everyone, staff included and the...
Read moreI made the mistake last night of going to Five Guys to grab food for my family. I ordered three plain bacon cheeseburgers and two orders of fries. I asked the young man taking my order to confirm he heard me when I said "plain." He said he did. I then waited an extraordinarily long time for the food, sitting with a bunch of irritated fellow customers wondering why everything was taking so long. I should have asked for a refund and left but had already waited so long, I didn't. A woman called my number and handed me a bag. "Three plain bacon cheeseburgers and two fries, correct?" I asked. She said yes. I looked at the bag, confirming my ticket stapled to it confirmed the same. I saw two fries and three burgers. I got home and found -- zero bacon cheeseburgers. Instead, I found three nasty burgers with different combinations of stuff on them -- all of which me and my family hate. I was too tired to drive all the way back to the store and sit there for another 30 minutes waiting on a replacement, so I had no choice but to throw the burgers away. There was no way to get all the nasty mushrooms, sauces, and other stomach-turners off the meat. So I paid $60 for horrible service and food that went to the garbage. Thanks for...
Read moreSerena, a manager at this location is top notch! When there was a discrepancy on how my order was rang up, I was annoyed and had displayed sassiness in my tone. I wasn’t being loud, or cursing, but I had a demeanor that wasn’t representative of Jesus. However, Serena handled me in such a cool, collective, and professional manner that as I sat down to eat my meal, I was convicted. She heard my issue, gave me what I wanted, and maintained her professionalism the entire time. So after I ate, I went back up to the counter. She was probably saying here comes this Karen again…lol! I called her over, apologized and let her know how well she handled me, because I know I was being “that customer.” Then, get this…she gave “me” a gift card!!! I’m like what?!?! Serena, remember, I’m the one who was not the nicest person earlier. I hope her boss recognizes the gem they have in Serena. There is no doubt in my mind that Serena will be blessed beyond measure simply because of the way that she deals with people. She definitely walks the old saying, “kill ‘em with kindness.” Thank...
