Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Tucson

The food itself doesn't disappoint and the staff are friendly and courteous, but the location makes it unappealing to choose from when there's another location a few more minutes north unfortunately.

The parking lot is really small and it doesn't connect to the parking lot literally just a couple steps over an unnecessary divider so if it turns out there's no parking (which seems to happen quite a bit) you either have to do some weird u-turn attempt or get forced back onto the street. Or, as I've seen some trucks do, just drive over the divider into the other parking lot out of frustration but its not recommended and shouldn't feel necessary enough to witness a couple cars do.

Other than problems with the location making it no very appealing to visit, it does have a new chipotlane feature so I would recommend ordering ahead and just using their pickup window to drive through and drive out rather than dealing with the headache of a parking lot. It is their saving grace and the only reason I did not rate them 3 stars instead of 4.

But it's still not a 5 because of my experience with pickup. My order was ready, I think? It was a large order so I got a box with the burritos and such and asked if it was everything. Told yes. Get back to the group and start handing out everything. Turns out the tacos and quesadillas (weren't very many) hadn't made it into the box so I went back. I waited a bit longer compared to the original quick response and they right away asked if I was from the big order missing the quesadillas and such. They got it to me and asked if they had put any forks and napkins, since the box didn't have any. They simply directed me to counter around the corner where all the forks and such are so I grabbed what I needed for almost 20 people.

Moral: don't make big orders here, friendly but maybe not accurate as would be liked, and terrible parking lot choices. Will probably just use a more easily accessible, proven reliable location - unless the chipotlane would be the better option in that situation as it's a redeeming...

I want to express my dissatisfaction with the experience I recently had at your restaurant. From the moment we arrived, the service was completely inattentive and with an attitude that gave the impression that they were doing us a favor instead of providing the service we were paying for. The staff showed little interest in serving us, with annoyed gestures and curt responses.

Furthermore, the food was disappointing: the portions were extremely small, far from what one would expect for the price you charge. To top it all off, the fresh water had virtually no flavor; it was more like colored water.

I find it unacceptable to receive such poor service. I hope this complaint is taken into account and that you work to improve both the staff's attitude and the quality and quantity of the food. An experience like this does not make me want to return or recommend your...

This location gives inconsistent portions. To start, the lady taking my order looked pissed and mumbled while taking my order. She dumped a massive scoop of rice in my bowl and gave me a tiny little scoop beans in a line right down the middle of it. When it came to meat they were out of everything but chicken and shredded brisket. She gave me a microscopic scoop of chicken, I counted only 7 cubes. The guy in line behind me got a different employee and I watched him get a full scoop of chicken and his bowl was filled above the brim while mine was barely halfway. There were also a few other issues; they were out of forks and knives and parking situation was a disaster. I was forced to park at the cold stone and walk over. The food at this location is tasty but lacking in quantity. I can confidently say this was the smallest portion I’ve ever got...
