Boyfriend and I ordered through Doordash, got the nachos man with NO CHICKEN (this is specific and important for later) the teriyaki burger, and mozz sticks. We also ordered a lemonade but they apparently don't do drinks to go? Aren't you a bar? If you don't have to go drinks take them off the to go menu... anyways, let's start with the burger. I appreciated how they kept the bun and patty separate so it wouldn't get soggy. However, for the $10.50 they charged me it was a big let down. The burger was mediocre, came with sweet onions (boyfriend said that was the best element of the burger) some lettuce, a tomato and a pickle. Also a bunch of ketchup and mustard packets in the bag. The waffle fries were inedible, and most of them got tossed. The nachos were just, no. I realize that's not terrifically descriptive but I literally can't think of any other way to say it. I asked for regular nachos with no chicken specifically. Our dasher (delivery driver for Doordash) told me when he showed up that they asked him if they were with or without chicken, he told them with. Not his fault, the chefs for Dirtbags should have read the order better. Checked the receipt, they charged me extra for the chicken that I didn't ask for or want, $14.00 overall. Guess that balanced out because they at least had the decency not to charge me for a drink I didn't get. When I opened the packaging for the nachos oh god, the smell was atrocious! I know they read the description for my order because they left out the items I asked them to. Not only was there chicken on my nachos, but it was dry and burnt, and the chips were stale. The saving grace was the refried beans, but they were buried under everything else and to dig through the gross chicken and eat it with stale, cold chips was just not worth it. So I think "can't all be bad, I love me some mozzarella sticks!" Let me be fair, they were okay. But, just okay. They're beer battered, which I wasn't expecting, but isn't a deal breaker. The first bite was confusing, but the more I ate them, the better they got. But still just okay. Without the Doordash delivery fees and tip, I paid $37.65 for food that I literally don't want to eat. My boyfriend seriously advised that I don't eat the rest of my nachos (I ate maybe 5 bites with everything) because they smell spoiled. I'm trying to decide how else to go about this because, to be perfectly honest, yes I absolutely want my money back. I have a strong feeling though that the best Dirtbags would offer me is another meal or some drinks, which I wholeheartedly don't want. I'm also assuming that because it was ordered through a third party there really isn't a way for me to get a refund. I am assuming though, so if anybody gets back to me I might...
Read moreThese people donât give too cents about rights, and theyâre all insecure. I just turned 21 and had a few margs at another bar all day, and me and my friends decided to go here for the first time. My bf met us there, because he had just gotten done with work. He got there right at the same time me and my friends did, and he was holding the door for us after getting his ID checked. I said to my friends âthatâs a sexy man holding the doorâ, and the bouncer told me to âshut my mouthâ. Confused, I said âwhat?â And he told me that I need to drink water when I get inside. I donât think he know the guy holding the door was my boyfriend, but my bf went up to him and said âitâs all good thatâs my girlâ and the bouncer proceeded to tell my bf that I need to get water when I get inside. (He let me in upfront) Me, my boyfriend, and friends walk in and sit down. I did not ask for a drink, I barely got my right cheek on the seat before he came over to us and said we needed to leave (mind you he was supposed to be bouncing outside, he let us in, did not see him after that till I got to my seat. We didnât fight him on the issue, and left. We went back to the car, and started reflecting wondering why he kicked us out. I wanted to go ask for myself, but my boyfriend thought it was better if he did. He then went up and I shortly followed, and he said that I was stumbling when I walked in. I was not stumbling, the last drink I had was over an hour prior. I asked for camera footage from the manager, because I wanted to see me âstumblingâ like he said, and the manager said âwe donât really have working camerasâ. I asked him to explain why I was kicked out, because I have never been there and just turned 21, and I should be able to learn if I did something wrong, right? He said that he isnât sure and canât tell me what I did wrong, he said the bouncer got âupsetâ, which all I can attribute to is that I called my boyfriend sexy, and he got insecure about it maybe? Idk what it was till now, but I just want yâall to understand that I wasnât too drunk, I wasnât stumbling, and I have people that understood that was how it is. Iâm still unsure what I did, and they werenât helpful at educating me. Donât support this place and Iâve never...
Read moreI had the most pessimistic bartender I have ever experienced. He spoke of his sad somewhat relationship and how his lady makes more money than him and likes to go out to eat too much. He told me how the best thing he has ever done was not have kids. (One thing we agreed on) He expressed his political views in depth not even aware that I would have very different than him. Being as gay and punk as I look and stating I am from Portland Oregon did not deter him. He continued his bashing of immigrants and those of lower income. I was the only one there on a Thursday night mind you. He said he has no regulars. (Wonder why?) I thought bartender listen to your problems not the other way around. Then when my friend showed up after a very difficult day at the hospital he was refused a drink because my buddy had a hospital wrist band on. Dude said he came up with this policy. That was the whole reason we met up there was because it was across the street from the hospital. One trip to this place and I conclude he is the reason this place is dead. Never going back. Sucks too because that Ruben sandwich...
