This is my second time coming to this location the first time we only had drinks and it was pretty dead it was about two or three in the afternoon. It's in the old H2O club. But you wouldn't recognize it because they've remodeled it extensively. The atmosphere is really good you can tell they spend a lot of money on it they have a DJ booth with a dance floor on the first floor with lots of cool lights they have a huge neighborhood sign on the roof they have TVs everywhere everything is new. The restrooms on the first floor have LED lighting and our big spacious and clean. The food doesn't seem to be as good as the 29th Street location it just kind of fell a little short and I think it's the same menu. They must just have better kitchen staff at the 29th Street location. As far as service this is where the reason lies why they only got three stars. The service is really slow I went there and we ordered food and there was a full house and there was literally only one bartender working the entire restaurant on the first floor. I felt bad for him I don't know if that was on purpose or someone else called in or if management is just being tight on scheduling but it did affect our experience. I wish I could have saw the second floor and also the rooftop deck but I guess I was there too early in the day it was closed so I can't speak to what goes on up there. I ordered the jalapeno burger and although it was decent it wasn't the best burger I've ever had and on top of it it was very very very greasy it was literally slipping out of my hands the onion rings were really good the french fries were burned so I recommend getting the onion...

I would only come here for drinks and nothing else. The food was mediocre at best and multiple orders had to be sent back. 1st burger came with cold fries and was raw, basically steak tartare, 2nd burger for my nephew came with the butcher paper still attached to the burger or the cheese (unsure which), 3rd burger came as another steak tartare. I will mention, we did not feel good sending these back one after the other (to the point we were apologetic to our server you know to be polite) but the food was clearly not edible. Our server was actually great and really apologetic as well. The main issue i had with this place though was the horrible manager. The manager came over with a terrible attitude and basically tried scolding us that smash burgers, which we weren't aware they were because we weren't told and the menu doesn't mention, only come well done and we shouldn't have asked for our meat medium. She then told us she had comped 2 burgers and that is all she could do for us and we were taken care of and then just walked away. We didn't ask for anything to be comped and we were not being jerks about the situation but she acted as if we were the issue. Again, we did not ask or imply in anyway that we should be given free food but if you are going to try to go that route it seems like a weird line in the sand to draw at 2 screw ups. I would highly suggest this place take a good hard look at this manager because she handled this as poorly as I could...

We recently visited the 29th St location and couldn’t wait to return. Came to the downtown location because it’s closer to home. And well, we won’t be returning here. The food was decent, but so much better in the hood. The ambiance fit a fun brunch vibe. Music was great. The service, however— no thanks. We sat close to the window and the bartender (who became our server), yelled at us from behind the bar that the door couldn’t be opened even tho we hadn’t opened it because it was “too hot.” (We arrived around 11:30 AM) We got our food, the birria street tacos and BBB (Birria Brunch Burrito). There was lipstick on one of our water glasses when it arrived to the table. We were half way through our meal before we saw our server, Francisco, again. When he finally came around, we asked for the consome that is supposed to come with the burrito. He told us he would have to charge us for it and that it only comes with the tacos. We let it go because we were really trying to enjoy ourselves but after double checking the menu, it does say it comes with “consome for dip’n” A few minutes later (now later in the day and hotter because that’s how the desert works), he came and opened up the sliding glass doors! And to top it all off, our server seemed much friendly and accommodating to the table next to us. Was it because we had...

The food is decent, a little nicer than most bars but still not as tasty as a restaurant. The service was fast though! They stop serving food at 10pm on the weekends so at that time they start prepping for the club vibe. There are two floors, two DJs, it's a small location but the music was great and plenty of space to dance. The restrooms were clean but people were inside doing drugs, I'd say typical for downtown. The micheladas do not compare to that of the original location.l, though.
