Wonderful venue. The building has been lovingly converted into a cinema that captures the atmosphere of a much earlier time. It harks back to the golden age of cinema, halcyon days when a trip to see a film was an event. The facilities are bang up to date though, so you get the best of both worlds. The staff were a delight and knowledgeable about films, which added to the charm of attending the venue. The films screened are as eclectic as the events held there and all the better for it. The guy who had to sit there later kept dropping it noisily on the cement floor interrupting the show. They let somebody set up a folding chair in the aisle despite the fire laws. The selection of beer and wine is very limited, and not the best, but its a screening room, not a bar. I'm very happy to support the local music scene and local musicians.
