Five Guys — Restaurant in Tuscaloosa

My wife decided to pickup three burgers and fries from 5 Guys restaurant in Tuscaloosa AL. We all had bacon cheeseburgers!

First off for three burgers and fries it was was $50.78. When she told me the price I said they better be some good burgers.

My wife, our 16 year old son and myself tried their burgers and fries for the first time. We all agree there isn’t anything special about them, except they cost more. Actually enjoyed the fries more than the bacon cheeseburger I had.

For the price and being nothing special about their burgers we probably won’t be back. We had to try them to see if we liked them. We enjoyed the burgers and fries but not the price tag. There are other restaurants around that you can purchase similar burgers at for fraction...

This place is GREAT! You actually get what you pay for because all the meat is 100% real beef no artificials like McDonald's or any other fast food burger restaurants. 3.5 ounce size patties with as much free toppings as you want. Your burger is cooked fresh as soon as you order, and you wait no longer than 7 mins. If you order fries you get a large portion.. For example, a large fry at Five Guys serves 4 people! Awesome right? I know! During your visit you get free peanuts, and last but not least.. This place has the new coke machines which has every coke product in every flavor you could ever think of! Lol okay maybe I over exaggerated a bit but it has 100+...

Five Guys has excellent hamburgers at Rolls-Royce prices. Each hamburger patty is cooked when ordered making for a very fresh and tasty experience. They have an extensive list of add-ons and condiments so each person can customize their experience. Don't get me started on the french fries - they are terrific. The employees cook small individual batches of french fries. The generous quantity that you are given can easily and quickly fill your appetite. Nothing beats hot freshly cooked fries except maybe their burgers. Five Guys also serves hot dogs, shakes and a vegetable sandwich if you are weird and want to outlive the rest...
