Taco John's — Restaurant in Twin Falls

When Taco Time went out of business, we were hopeful that this would be a good replacement. In AZ, we have Del Taco which rocked with Taco Tuesdays where tacos were 3 for $0.99. Unfortunately, Taco John's has terrible salsa and Taco Tuesdays are not affordable. What good is a taco, enchilada or burrito if the salsa you put on it is yuck. Add to that a salsa bar...to serve the sub-par salsa is like "here, we have horrible salsa but...you can have all you can eat!" No thanks. The refried beans are about all that is palatable but you have to ask for extra cheese if you want more than 5 strands of cheddar on it. Which of course they charge you $0.99 for the extra cheese...on the $1.99 bowl of refried beans...Seriously? You should pass on even eating here. Try the place in the mall instead....

You should definitely eat here, if nothing else for the owner Dave and his understanding of customer service.

A coworker and I went in to Taco Johns for lunch today. He had told me about the street taco trio and said I needed to try them. We both ordered the steak tacos but they seemed more like shredded beef. They were good, they just didn't seem like what we ordered.

When I went up to the front counter to ask about the tacos, I was able to speak with the owner Dave who looked at my remaining taco and quickly said, "Let us make you some fresh ones!" He brought both my coworker and I THREE NEW tacos each.

Its hard to find good customer service at fast food places these days but Dave knows his stuff. And the street tacos are excellent! Stop by and give them...

I would give zero stars if I was able to. Dave the owner is very unprofessional and rude to his staff. I worked here for a while and ended up quitting because of this. They also had me doing things that weren’t on the job description. Romain on the other hand is wonderful at his job! Anyways , I’ve been trying to get my W-2 for about three weeks now and nothing. I called twice before and was told I would get it through the mail, my mom called a third time and was told they had messed something up and I’d forsure get it now. I called today to see if I would just be able to pick up a copy in person and was told by Mariah that Dave was busy and she could take a message. She proceeded to say give me a second and hung up on me. Horrible...
