Taco Bueno — Restaurant in Tyler

Always love my food here! It is always quick, hot and fresh. The drive thru clerks are always very friendly and don't roll their eyes or make snide remarks when you check your bag to make sure everything is correct. I have been eating here twice a month for over 3 years and I can't remember any time that I've had to ask for anything that wasn't in the bag. They pay attention to detail and it makes coming here always a pleasant experience!

On another note though trying to get out of this place during lunch is Ludacris! People REFUSE to let you pull out or go across to get into the other lane. They will stop right in front of the parking lot exit and block you in every time. I run into at least 3 RUDE drivers every time I visit. During lunch it gets pretty congested on Old Bullard Rd, so if you can, come after peak hours or be willing to deal with RUDE and super...

I went to the location on OLD Bullard Rd. in Tyler TX. I ordered 4 orders of the 2 pack cheesecake chimi's. I also ordered 2 steak quesadillas. Went through the drive-thr, and I know they're supposed to be cooked as ordered. However, I believe mine were precooked because they were so burnt that I could only eat 1. I threw the rest in the trash. I don't live in Tyler, so since I went through the drive-thru on my way home. I was already halfway home before I was even ready to eat them. This is the first time I have ever had this experience with my chimi's. So it's partly my fault because I didn't look in the bags before leaving. It's also partly their fault for knowingly letting something they knew was over cooked leave the restaurant is sad. I waited about 15 minutes with no other customers' insight. I won't be going back. This visit made 2 stars because of the food. As usual it was very good. The reason for not being rated higher is due to the attitude and smart mouth of the employee taking the order. ( She claimed to be the Manager when asked to speak to one. ) The young woman would not look at us, only looking down. Would not let us finish our order without interrupting, Only seemed interested in selling a soft drink. Did not know who the district manager was and smart mouth about it. The person I was with is a long time manager of a major retail department store and said that she needed to be removed immediately .
