So I want to start off with saying I don’t ever leave bad reviews on a business but today I felt like I needed to since I had the worst experience. I’ve been coming to this place for years I drive about 35 since it’s the only place that does a decent job even though it’s a hit and miss . Today I walk in and request a gel on my hands and toes. They immediately start asking what color not even a minute after I sat down to look at colors , I state that I haven’t looked they start getting very pushy so I rush and just choose a color. I then request to get a natural round shape she files my nails in a square shape after I repeated I wanted round she then says “ I don’t like round shape” I’m like okay .. “I’m the one paying for the service so I would like a round shape.” She clearly did not like my response and started arguing that it’s not a round shape that I’m asking for oval just back and fourth I’m like it’s fine I want round. She then asks if I want a manicure after after I said no mani multiple times just gel so she starts painting over hang nails so the side of my nails have bumps since she didn’t bother to prep so I ask kindly ask her if she can fix it she then throws a fit talking in another language the manager then comes and files off the issues that was clearly no too hard but she refused. So after she finished she left didn’t say anything even thought I had stated I wanted gel on my toes also. Then another lady comes and has me sit down does not say a word on what I would like done and starts filing off my gel from my toes and when wanted to go straight into painting and didn’t even bother trimming my uneven Long toe nails so I stop her and say I would like my nails trimmed before you starting painting like I always do she then says “THATS A PEDI” I’m like no I’m asking you to trim my nails not a pedi. So she then pulls out a (BIG RUSTY ) when I say rusty i mean rusty nail clipper and I immediately stop her and tell her I do not want her to cut my nails with that rusty nail clipper that even had nail gunk still on it. So she looked at me all puzzled and gets up and grabs another one that’s was just as rusty and I tell her Im not letting her cut my nails with that I want a sanitized one. She then started speaking very loudly in another langue and says someone else is going to help you. So another nail tech comes I explain that I cannot have her cut my nails with that unhygienic nail clipper she said she understood and goes and brings out a clean nail clipper and does my nails how I asked her name was Annie. She made sure I was happy with the shape and said that they do not charge to cut my nails that it’s standard even though I knew that . She’s the only reason I had a decent experience before I left today. This was my first time coming here and was excited to have time to stop by. The staff was not friendly at all. When I walked in I was behind another lady. So I picked up the menu that was tucked away on a side of the display and before I can glance at the menu the man is rushing me to sign my name on the paper. Then points to go pick out my polish. No biggie I just wanted a fill and regular polish. I sit down and Lisa comes and begins to do my nails. She was nice to bring me a chair to put my purse on instead of the floor when I asked. As I’m noticing her doing my nails aggressively I’m like maybe it’s me. So she tells me to go wash my hands… umm where I have never been here before. She pointed and I went to wash my hands. It was gross over there. Before I can sit back down for her to polish my nails she tells me to go pay before she finish. I have never been made to pay before you finish a service but I obliged and seen no one else being told to pay before their nails are finished the whole time I sat there. So I paid, she polished, turned on a fan and walked away. So I’m just sitting there, nobody has checked on me, offered me something to drink. Nothing. So now I’m ready to go and noticed my fingers were white and had product residue still on my fingers. So since there was cuticle oil sitting around me I asked the lady working beside me if I can put some one my fingers because they are white. She had the audacity to be like no you go regular polish! Excuse me! I have never! Then Lisa who did my nails finally came over after the lady called her over and then a man came over and I’m showing them my white ashy with product looking fingers and they are like no you got regular polish so now I’m getting frustrated because I’m like I have never walked out of nail salon with my fingers looking like this you didn’t offer me lotion or nothing until you can hear me getting angry. Then he is like oh there is lotion by the door! Dude that’s what I’m asking for your making a big deal when you could of easily said oh ma’am we have something for that let me show you. Nope nothing but attitude and I spent my money and tipped! I don’t care if I got clear polish you don’t treat nobody like that. I moved to Tyler and was excited to find a nail salon I enjoyed going to. However, my last visit was VERY bad. I made an appointment and sat for 30 minutes after the appointment time waiting for the nail tech. The lady sitting behind me was in the same boat and ended up just walking out. I overlooked it but I figured it was busy and things happen.

However, my nail tech asked what I wanted. Told her almond french tips acrylic. She tried talking me into gel instead of acrylic for about 10 minutes I kept repeating "No thank you, I do not want gel." She almost wouldn't take it for an answer and got a little rude and asked what color. I showed her a picture of simple pink and white french nails. She grabs the stuff and comes back and it's not even close to pink. I tell her don't worry about it and just paint them red.

She then tells me she's glad that I chose red because french tips on almond are very ugly!! I had no words. She then tells me she wants to charge me an extra 5 dollars for them being "long." They were very short. I told her these nails are not long at all and they barely extended over my finger. She tried to save herself by saying "oh I am just saying other nail techs would you charge you more. Not me." I just sat in silence cause I didn't know what to say.

Moving on, I ask for an eyebrow wax. She takes me to the back and completes it under a minutes and I walk out with eyebrows that look the exact same way as they did when I walked in.

I am extremely dissatisfied and contemplated making this review for a month but figured it would be beneficial since it was so bad I do not want to return. There are nails tech there that are really good and there are some that are really bad. If you make an appt, just make sure you choose someone that you know is friendly and good at their job. I wouldn't come to this place to set up an appt with just anyone. Very...
