Aldys Restaurant — Restaurant in Union City

Had to take my COVID vaccine around the area and found this little store nearby. Looks like a family-owned local business that's a bit hard to find but totally worth the visit if you're in the area.

We got the Chorizo tacos and Chorizo Tortas. We were the only people that sat down and ate there (they only have 2-3 small tables) and had to wait a bit for the food to come out. The mom served our food nicely hot and fresh with some additional sauces on the side which was very considerate.

The tacos filled me up real quick and we had to take the leftover torta back home. 10/10...

The worse and most expensive tortas in town. I paid $28.62 for two tortas, not even with fries or drinks. I bought it just because I was near by, but I usually go to 5 de Mayo located at 29 and Bergen Line. Their tortas are only 5 dollars or if you go to the Centenario located at 13 St and Bergen Line Ave. Is much better, tortas come with fresh cut fries. I just hate how restaurants take advantage on their customers. Tortas aren't that tasty, very oily and soggy. It will be my first and last time coming to this place. Don't recommend this...

Aldys is seriously the best !!! I’ve been coming here for years for her tacos bc they are AMAZING!!!! Recently I was like let me try one of the tortas bc I’ve been so obsessed with her tacos, it never occurred to me to have anything else. What I have been missing all these years !
