Roast & C.R.E.A.M. — Restaurant in Union City

So far, I have been to Roast & C. R. E. A. M. twice, and definitely look forward to returning for the Silent Book Club Meetup, produced by Book Haven Books on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

The food is banging! The music is hella banging! The customer service is EXCELLENT! Not to mention super delicious foods and pastries, and the CLEANEST bathroom I have ever used in a cafe. The decor is absolutely unique for Union City, with records of some of the biggest Hip-Hop artists of the last twenty years or so.

I especially love how the windows are styled similarly to a cafe in La Habana, Cuba.

I cannot say enough good things about this place, and yet, I could say even more good things.

Simply put: if you want good food, great service, excellent service and beautiful decor, you owe it to yourself to give...

From the moment we walked in, the staff were genuinely welcoming. They were warm, attentive, and impressively knowledgeable, setting the stage for a standout experience, we even arrived 15 minutes before closing and they did not rush to get us out.

We tried the Iced Matcha Mango Latte, and it was excellent. Not too sweet, with a perfect balance between earthy matcha and tropical mango, the flavors played off each other.

The Cortadito (a bold coffee and steamed milk blend) was just as impressive. The steamed milk softened the edge of the espresso without diluting its rich, robust taste.

To top it all off, the Tres Leches Cupcake was pure indulgence. Moist, flavorful, and packed with personality in every bite, you have to try it! Thank me later 😊

This is a really nice place! I’ve been wanting to try it for some time now and we finally stopped by for the first time today. I went with my daughter and husband. Great atmosphere. Really great hip hop/coffee shop vibe. The decor and ambiance is really nice. The food was so good too! We ordered the pizza bagels, fries, chicken fingers and the nano sandwich. Everything was delicious! The customer service was excellent! The woman who took my order (I assume was the owner’s wife) was so incredibly nice. As was the owner. They were both so kind and welcoming. We will definitely be back. I can’t wait to go for brunch. I’m really happy that Union City has a place like this. It really has such a great neighborhood feel.
