I have been going to Teri Teri for years. When I say years I mean over 6+ years. Here is my honest review.

Through its ups and downs, this place always got the job done. I remember back in 2017, when I first went to Teri Teri, this place was amazing. I’d get the same thing every time. Either a chicken bowl with 2 pieces of sushi or a chicken plate. The teriyaki sauce + the white sauce mixed with the chicken and the rice would do it for me everytime.

Come 2020-2021, I ordered teri Teri after a hiatus and it just didn’t taste the same. Chicken had an odd taste. Rice was clumpy. And to top it all off, the portions were reduced. I was sad to see one of my favorite places fall like this.

Last weekend was the first time in a long time I decided to order Teri Teri again. And to my surprise, a lot has changed in the last couple years. First, they switched from styrofoam to plastic plates (at least you can reuse and reheat the plastic). Second, it feels like their portions have gotten so much bigger. This time around, I wasn’t able to finish the chicken plate without feeling full. Lastly, the chicken tasted so much better. I got that smoked teriyaki taste and the sauces never let me down.

All in all, this place has become a staple in Union City. Like it or not, you can’t deny that it gets the job done. Yes, it could definitely be a bit better. And yes, prices have gone up. However, everytime I order Teri Teri nowadays, I leave satisfied. And that’s all I can ask for from a place that gets...

Came here on a whim as my friends raved about it and I was in the area :) let's just say the food is sooooo good!! The green tea bubble tea is legit! And the food-the portions are HUGE. We got the teri teri plate, tempura and 2 rolls (lobster and the teri special roll-whew, the jalapeños were spicy!!). The sushi was fresh, no fishy taste at all! The teriteri tho, wow! That sauce. It's crack, it's so good. And they have this white sauce for the salad that I wasn't expecting, sweet and tangy and almost like french dressing. Tempura was also nice and crispy, again the shrimp was fresh, no fishy taste at all!

It's kinda unexpected, I wasn't expecting legit Japanese food here in Bergenline but it was such a nice little place to stop in for a meal. Generous portions and good prices for Japanese food-seriously I'm so used to paying so much more for Japanese.

Hi. I decided to try Uber eats here and my overall experience when eating the food was terrible. The California rolls I got were extremely low quality and were basically cubes of sticky rice. The ingredients within were low quality and the overall roll was not good. I also ordered the chicken teriyaki and shrimp tempura, which were both equally as bad.

Like I said, I used Uber eats and could not see who was preparing the food, but I could for sure tell you it was no traditinal Japanese person....and if it was you should be ashamed of yourself.

The chicken teriyaki was no more than a piece of grilled chicken that a dad could cook at a Sunday BBQ. Nothing about it was teriyaki besides the little cup of sauce they gave on the side. If you like fake not delicious Japanese food...this is the place to go. Real review from a...

Bought from here a couple months ago and then again today (I thought to give them a second chance). Found a dead bug fly in my salad today. Both times, chicken was super dry and didn’t taste fully cooked. Food was overpriced, more than $18 for two chicken bowls, no drinks, no extras; just the chicken bowls. Salad is literally just few pieces of lettuce. Also when I called to place my order, the woman I was speaking to abruptly handed off the phone mid sentence to a man and I had to repeat my entire order to him. I thought that was rude and unprofessional.
