Mi Bandera — Restaurant in Union City

We have been going to Mi Bandera restaurant since I was about 7 years old. I am almost 40 and for the first time was I not only disappointed with the service I received (4 female waitresses working today from 2 -6 were the rudest I have ever witnessed) but the steak was disgusting. I always get the palomilla steak with onions and today it was so raw and on top of that cold!! When I told the waitress I was disappointed with the service and the food, she immediately dismissed it saying that’s how I asked for it. I also ordered a salad (which never came) did not get any water like they normally put on the tables with the ice nor did I get the bread with butter. Today’s service was disgraceful. The food was amazing but the service was awful. My family and I were seated and drinks were ordered it was until 20 minutes later until we asked for a server that they came to take our order. He asked who wanted coffee and never brought out a dessert menu, we tried to flag him down MULTIPLE times, to no avail. Finally I asked the busboy to bring us the menu and he did, it must've been another 20 minutes before he came to the table to take our order for dessert. The whole time he had an attitude as if we were the problem. I'm sorry, I like my servers attentive. Not up my butt but attentive is that too...

Food allergy friendly restaurant!!! On Sunday, my family had the opportunity to visit the restaurant and we called in advance to find out accommodations for one our family member with food allergies. Jesus the manager was great!!! Very friendly and willing to help us to feel comfortable and safe. It is a pleasure for me to write this review and thank mi bandera restaurant for such as warm and great customer service!!!
