Why even serve carne asada if you're not going to trim the meat at all? This was the single most excruciating burrito experience I've ever had. Literally every bite was filled with chunks of cartilage and gristle that had to be spat out. I gave up after struggling through half the burrito because I couldn't enjoy even one bite without a hard, chewy piece of cartilage being discovered. Nobody want a mouth full of that crap! It's SCRAPS! That's what you feed to a dog. The flavor of the meat was also lacking. Complete waste of $14. My burrito was bad enough to make this a one-star experience, but my daughter's rolled tacos were also tiny, completely lacked flavor like they didn't even season the meat, and at $9 weren't even enough to curb the appetite of a 11 year old. Never going back to this horrible location. I'm sorry but if you care so little about your customers that you don't even trim off the inedible parts of the meat, then you don't deserve ANYONE'S money because you just don't care.

I went inside to order and the women taking my order wasn't polite and wanted to rush "store wasn't busy at the time at all" sounded like they were having a good time in the back as I waited for my potatoe and egg burrito "ordered a sausage burrito" which had everything but the sausage. When she returned the good time had apparently ended , " heres ur order and puts it on the counter".I Couldn't even say have a good day as she rushed through her normal get out of here end of transaction words... you know i would have looked passed the poorly made item had she at very least been cordial. The 10$ isn't worth going back in and getting a 50/50 chance of another poorly made item.. just do better, be nice, I feel like nowadays it's asking to much of anyone...

Muchas Gracias is a chain, but it is a very good Mexican chain. The location in downtown Vancouver is the only late night place in the city. If you want something that is open until 4am or later, this is your spot. They have reasonably priced tacos, burritos, enchiladas and more. You can get get a full meal or just a few things here or there. Its good Mexican for that time after having a few on a late night on the weekend.

If you've never been to a Muchas Gracias, it's a very fast food version of "hot plate" Mexican food. The kind of grub where if you're in a sit down place with a waiter, you hear shouts of "HOT PLATE!" as they drop food off at every table around you.

The food here is basically fine. It's not amazing. But I really don't think they try to make it amazing. What it is, it's incredibly consistent and decent Mexican. It's consistent across every location and any hour of the day or night. If you find something you like here, you can order that here in downtown Vancouver, or further east on Mill Plain or down in Salem and it will always taste the same.

There are weird idiosyncrasies to be aware of. If you order nachos or cheese enchiladas, the day-glo shredded cheddar cheese will not be melted, and might still be a little on the cold side. Their enchilada sauce is direct from the can, with no attempt to give it a homemade flavor. Their carne asada in things like nachos and tacos can be a little grissly. But maybe those things as part of the charm? It doesn't really detract from the experience too much in my opinion.

I do recommend trying their crunchy beef tacos. It's shredded beef wrapped in a tortilla, and then deep fried, with the previously mentioned cheddar cheese crammed in the top after the fry. It's an impressive and satisfying crunchy taco, which I normally avoid because of the stale tortilla. But here, it's tasty.

Temper your expectations and this place is satisfying and...

Giving one star for this location only because it's the second time I have came there and they are closed early. at least this time someone finally open the window to respond to me when I asked if they are closing early all the time now. Last time myself and four other people were very disappointed. This time I was much earlier and found out they now closed at 1:30 a.m. the door sign still say otherwise I'm hoping the owners will change this on the door and online.I work late and it's really disappointing to be hungry and spend time driving to this location only to find it closed again when I could have spent the time driving to a different location and got food and now I've lost out on both. I'm very thankful to the nice lady whoo opened the window to talk to me instead of the other person who ignored myself and four other people a while back. I understand where the other woman was coming from a but it's not the customers fault if the hours are posted incorrectly on the door and it makes sense for people to be disappointed when it looks like there's four people there before close that won't be served based on the posted hours. In general it is really good...
