Good ice cream on a hot day. Treat is conveniently located in downtown Vancouver. The small storefront is wedged between a coffee shop and a small restaurant. The ice cream selection is limited to about 10 flavors . Small samples are available. I selected the coconut fudge and the salted caramel . Both were delicious. The salted caramel has a better than average caramel flavor. Prices are somewhat steep ( $8.00 for 2 tennisball sized scoops) but in line with other ice cream locations. Better quality than Ice Cream Renaissance in my opinion.....no freezer crystals !!!! Recommended

We were waiting in line at the salt and straw and it was hot and taking awhile when my husband looked up other places and we found Treat. We decided to drive over and I think we made the right decision for our ice cream spot. The salted peanut butter cup, and the butter cake ice cream are AMAZING!! (Pictured right) My husband went with more classic flavored got cookies and cream and something else (pictured left). He tried my ice cream and said it was the best he’s had also! I wish I could have more of that ice cream it was the best!

The best ice cream place in downtown Vancouver is not Salt & Straw... It is Treat! They make absolutely delicious ice cream and delicious mix ins. This day I got my favorite butter cake ice cream with a split scoop of their special brambleberry crisp on a fresh made waffle cone. It was absolutely delicious. The butter cake has the rich slightly salty butter flavor mixed in with sweet base of the ice cream. A simple instant classic. The crisp was delicious and fruity. I highly recommend Treat for any trip downtown in the summer.

When we moved here over a year ago from Florida, I had been researching some of the best loved places to check out in Vancouver. Treat was on the list because of their Instagram page and delectable goodies! When we arrived, we discovered they had literally the best frosted sugar cookies we have ever had (and we have traveled a LOT) and were instant fans! Then as time went by this became a weekly stop on Saturday’s after the Farmers Market and every time we would try something new (and also get the worlds greatest sugar cookie). When COVID hit, we found their online ordering and wanted to still support this lovely local business as much as possible. They are always kind and friendly but they went above and beyond yesterday. I got a call as I was actually leaving to pick up my curbside order to let me know someone had actually picked up my order of sugar cookies by accident. I said no problem but then they said they were baking me fresh ones and would even deliver them if I wanted them to!! Wow!! I was blown away! She said she would text me when they were done and when I arrived to pick them up, she had added an extra one as well as another set of their brookies (amazing btw!) that hadn’t been picked up! Did I say wow already??!! WOW!! And don’t stop at their cookies...their specialty ice cream pints are incredible as well!! The chocolate chip cookie dough and chocolate brownie ice creams have HUGE CHUNKS of dough and brownie in them. I work out hard all week long just to earn my splurge ā€œTreatā€!!

One suggestion for Treat...maybe once do the chocolate ice cream from the brownie one with the chocolate chip cookie dough bits instead of brownie. Lordy, Lordy! I’d be the BIGGEST fan of that one!

If you haven’t tried them, GET THERE! You will NOT be...

2nd UPDATE: I'm glad to see they have started taking this more seriously by posting their hours and keeping their platforms up to date. I'm still a bit bitter, but did add back stars because they seem to have listened. UPDATE: so frustrated that half the time I have tried to come here they are closed with NO COMMUNICATION on Google, social media, or their website. Their voicemail says they don't answer their phone during business hours??? They have done this to me over half a dozen times, no exaggeration.

You have to go to the trouble of showing up and wasting your time to learn that they are on holiday break or their hours have changed.

Extremely inconsiderate to their customers.

Easily the best ice cream around. I think the flavor is better than salt and straw and the popular shops out in pdx. Their vegan coconut fudgecicle is to die for, and I'm not even vegan.

Came in tonight and there was a consistant line of customers and only 3 workers. The person in front of me was really terrible and cursed at the staff because they were out of what she wanted. Shout out to the workers who were working hard and didn't deserve that kind of treatment from an adult throwing a tantrum about ice cream an hour before close on a Saturday. Tip the...

As several others have mentioned, the woman who owns Treat and works there can be quite rude and confrontational with customers. She humiliated me and my wife when I was remarking to one of her employees that they might consider editing google maps by adding their phone number and by changing the location of their entrance from West Evergreen Street to Columbia Street where the true entrance and sign are! It was a most unpleasant and unwelcome shock for my wife and me to be 'put in our place' when merely pointing out to the owner that she could easily edit, correct and enhance her Google Maps profile, to treat us as if we instead had somehow disparaged her! After leaving, I did nonetheless take a moment to edit Treat's Google Maps profile to show both the phone number and the true entrance on Columbia Street rather than Treat's West Evergreen Street mailing address around the corner, even though the owner had so rudely and falsely assured me that such a correction was...
