Ten Tigers Bar — Restaurant in Ventura

I had the ceviche and thought it was pretty good. The person I brought with me is also particularly picky about their food options, but actually shared the plate and happily ate it.

They have a really good basil, cucumber, non-alcoholic spritz. I recommend it. I also ordered an old fashioned, it was well done and strong.

The other thing this place has going for it is the ambiance. There's lots of outdoor heating elements, you won't feel chilly at all if the weather's cold. When you walk up and inside the porch, you feel like you are in an open air patio of a big, southern style...

Come for the cocktails, skip the food.

Loved their sours that were whipped up with egg whites. I'd put their cocktails up there with other Downtown Ventura, Heavy Hitting cocktail bars: Rocks and Drams, Strange Beast, and Italy Cocktail Trust.

When it comes to the food, it looks pretty...... But just like my gynocologist would say, it may look pretty, however, it doesn't mean you should eat it. The beet, watermelon salad didn't have good flavor. The aguas chile tasted more like mango salsa with...

PROS: great date night atmosphere, the passion fruit cocktail with the foam on top was so yummy, ceviche was very unique and very good, smash burger yummy, beet salad amazing, chicken entree huge/filling, prices seem fair

CONS: white tiger margarita was beautiful in presentation but lacked a little something but I can’t pinpoint it, possibly lime???

OVERALL: highly recommended, it’s a new date night stable for us, so happy fun new places are...
