Marco's Pizza — Restaurant in Vero Beach

If I could give less then one star I would. What a joke!! Whatever you do never order pizza from Marco's in Vero Beach. We ordered pizza and I asked how much the garlic butter cost. I was told that it was free with our $40 order so I asked to have one added on to our order, the gal taking my order said if she tried to add it at this point everything in our order would be lost. So she said she would make note of it and have the delivery driver bring it with the order.... The gal also told me it would be at my home in 25 to 30 minutes. Well 1 hour and 10 minutes later I called and asked where the pizza was. I was told that they showed the driver was on his way and should be at our house in a few minutes. 1/2 hour later I had to call back because we still didn't have any pizza. While on the phone with Marco's the pizza finally arrived... naturally they forgot the garlic butter. When I called the "Manager" Maddie...who by the way has no authority to make their mistakes right...said she talked to the girl who took our order and she said we never asked for garlic butter and that she never told us 25 to 30 minutes. And if I wanted the garlic butter she would have it delivered but I would have to pay for the delivery...WHAT...ARE YOU KIDDING ME. So I asked for credit on my credit card instead....she doesn't have the authority to credit my card but would give me a credit the next time I order a pizza from them. REALLY!!! You think I would ever order pizza from Marco's again...not only was it cold, late and incorrect...the "manager" basically called me a liar. Again...what a joke. If I am going to spend $40 on pizza trust me I will order from ANY other pizza place...

I have not been to a Marco's in Florida even tho I have been here near 5 years. On a Weds nite I got an XL 2 item special, xcheese, sausage, extra sauce and the pizza was excellent, 10 minutes from order to pick up. Far better than I remember at Marco's in Michigan I had a few times that was average. This location was far above average, fantastic and when that happens, I will be back for more. I had broken my leg a few weeks ago and the delivery girl hustled over to help me out, when the product is this good, you know the employees take pride in their work. In ranking chain store pizzas, this location easily takes the lead on my list in this area. I also look for coupon deals, if I am going to spend 16 bucks I need good reason. I find the XL better than smaller, the sausage was very good, probably the best of any chain pizza store I have had. The overall flavor, I like extra sauce, was excellent and that flavor & texture means their cheese is a blend with a few better italian cheeses. Crust was great, properly aged and...

I've only lived in Vero since March, and when it came to finding a a good pizza it was very disappointing, then one day I received a mailer from marco's, when we ordered it it was a pleasure to finally get a good pizza and we have only been ordering from them. One of my favorite pizzas that I used to make for myself when I was the GM at pizza hut was chicken and bacon on thin crust, so I decided to order one from marco's, it was ok but the bacon was very skimpy so when I ordered one last night I ask for double bacon that way it would be the way I wanted it, well nothing about it was right, I ask for thin crust and got reg, the bacon was the bacon that goes on salads and you couldn't even see the cheese, the chicken was terrible, it had 2 pieces of of chicken on each slice that was in small blocks, I was so disappointed in the whole thing I couldn't even eat it, so I guess we'll have to continue ordering the same one we always order, they are...
