Arby's — Restaurant in Verona

DO NOT GO HERE FOR LUNCH DURING THE WEEK! caps intended. The one star was given just to write this. In general, I like Arby's. As such, it hurts a bit to write this. I will NOT be going to this Arby's again. The weekday lunch employees pay NO attention to the customers. I ordered a spicy gyro meal and got a brisket meal. I had driven away and looked at the receipt. It said brisket. While ordering, I was asked about the type of fries. I replied curly and stated I would like Mellow Yellow as a drink. The employee, responded, "Yes." Then proceeded to ask what I would like to drink. It is 100% clear this person was not paying attention. A robot could do better than this. This Arby's needs to be shut down, if this is the best employee they can find. It is 100% clear they will never open inside seating, as they seem to be unable to find anyone that responsible enough to clean to work there.

Whelp. I do like Arby's so a month later, I gave the place another try. Perhaps I was a bit harsh and need to rethink the situation. Perhaps this is a casino where you role the dice and take your chances. Perhaps this is an adventure park where you don't know what they will mess up next. Sound kind of exciting that way. :) At least, after a few slips, I evveeennntttuuuuuaalllllyyyy got what I ordered. Perhaps they butchered a cow in the back just to make sure I got fresh meat. This is an improvement and I can say they have definitely earned a 1 star. Maybe I will try again...

This review is mostly about the excellent service experience rather than the food (which was also good).

I was on my way to Cave of the Mounds while driving between Chicago and Minneapolis, and stopped here to have a bite to eat. I ordered something with a few modifications and one of the folks assembling my food wasn't 100% clear on the things I'd requested of the cashier so he found where I was sitting and double-checked to make sure he got my order right.

After I got done with my meal I realized that I'd locked my keys in my car. While I was sitting on my hood waiting for a locksmith one of the employees came out to offer me a free drink and make sure everything was okay, and let me know I could wait inside if the sun was too strong.

I've not been compelled to write a review on a food establishment before but this struck me as really above and beyond service. If it wasn't a state away I'd make sure this is the Arby's I...

Well where do I begin with this place. Used to be a chill place that was very quick and clean. I work in service so when they’re slow I know it’s because they were busy and understaffed but now they seem to be under new management since I’ve visited recently. The store is disgustingly dirty, tables probably get wiped down every 4-6 hours whether it’s busy or not, bathrooms can be compared to your standard highway truck stop. The employees working looking absolutely miserable and I probably have a good guess as too why. The new GM and what seems to be her daughter as an assistant are not very friendly. They swear at each other from across the store and argue like they’re at home in their living room IN FRONT OF CUSTOMERS. If you want good quick fresh food just go two doors down to Jimmy Johns or even the Taco Bell is a better experience than this sorry excuse of a restaurant. Will not be returning to this sh^t...
