Wakin' Bacon — Restaurant in Wall

I recently had the pleasure of trying out the food truck Wakin’ Bacon and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. From the moment I stepped up to the window, the friendly staff greeted me with a smile and walked me through their menu, which was filled with unique and delicious options.

I ended up trying their signature dish, the "Bahn Mi" sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was perfectly toasted, the meat was flavorful and tender, and the pickled vegetables added just the right amount of crunch and tanginess. The portion size was generous and it was evident that they used high-quality ingredients.

In addition to the food, the service was exceptional. The staff was attentive and made sure I was satisfied with my meal. They even took the time to recommend other items on the menu that they thought I would enjoy.

We appreciated this gourmet food truck on the way to the Badlands! Stopped in for a couple breakfast sandwiches, one with egg, American cheese, and ham, and one with egg whites, avocados, and spinach. The first sandwich also was accompanied with spinach. Sandwiches were made to order, fresh, hot, tasty, and hit the spot. Quite a large portion of fresh avocados on the egg white sandwich which made this so much more enjoyable. I'm not normally a food-truck eating person, but this had great reviews & food options are limited in Wall. The owner/server was super friendly, outdoor area colorful and cheerful (has a covered area incase of rain or the need for shade). Very clean! The food was hot and delicious! My kids even ate all their sandwiches and hash brown (which it's unheard of that they finish any meal). Husband and I both very much enjoyed ours as well, I got a sausage, egg, & cheese with wheat & he got the Waken Bacon Breakfast Sammy, which was delicious! We all left...
