The ONLY reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because the food was pretty good... once it was corrected.
When I order pizzas, I usually order extras to vacuum seal and freeze for future meals, and I've usually had good service and good food in the past, but that all changed on 8/7/23.
I live outside of the delivery area, so I ordered curb-side because my order was a large order, 2 XL specialties (one with banana peppers added), 2 orders of 8 pc chicken wings and garlic bread twists, totalling almost $57, not counting the tip.
After getting home and doing a few things before eating, about 2 hours later, I noticed there were no banana peppers on the pizza. I called the store directly, Alex answered and I explained that the banana peppers that were ordered and paid for, yes, I double checked my receipt before I called, and was given the option to go back that day for a corrected remake or I could have store credit for an XL 3 Topping pizza. I told him that I lived out a ways and asked why would I not get future credit for what I paid for and SHOULD have gotten in the first place? Alex replied, "I'm not going to give you a $30 pizza, but I can remake it today." Again I asked, why would I have to come back today to make it right? I was again given the choice to make it right today or get store credit for an XL 3 topping. Since I wanted what I ordered, I opted for the former and made another trip, 20 miles round trip, to pickup the remake.
I worked for a competitor for 14+ years and when we made a mistake, we would NEVER give the customer less than what they paid for!! Oh Domino's, your customer service is TRULY lacking! Somebody needs to train this crew on GOOD customer service, after all, the customers...
Read moreI ordered my thin crust large pizza with pepperoni, black olives, green peppers, and roasted red peppers at 12:47. I was told itd be 20-25 minutes. 40 minutes later I called and they had told me it didnt get sent out yet and that the driver forgot to grab it.. They offered me some cinnamon twists and such, I declined and said I understand things happen. Then the guy over the phone said "sorry our driver is an imbisil and forgot your pizza" which was very unprofessional. I shrugged it off. So my pizza arrives at 1:50, the driver seemed nervous and nearly forgot to give me my sauce for my chicken until I had reminded him. I still tipped. I go to open my pizza and it's not thin crust. Nor did it have pepperoni, also it had onions I didnt ask for. With a closer look I see it's a vegetarian. Yet my label says what I ordered, minus the thin crust. So the rude guy over the phone himself had not even taken the correct order. He asked "are you sure it was supposed to be thin crust, I said yes you even confirmed it and read it back to me over the phone. Its recorded even. So nonetheless. I was gonna shrug it off until it was one thing after another. I'm not sure what the deal is but they weren't busy or I wouldnt have gotten that wait time, that, or they aren't doing their job correctly and giving false wait times. Read moreI've never had a single bad experience ordering from this Domino's, both with delivery and carry-out (mostly delivery). I think I've probably gotten 100 pizzas and utilize the point system/free pizza quite often too... as a college student pizza is kind of a staple lol. They even deliver to my fiance's workplace on occasion. The delivery drivers are always very nice and friendly. Only once perhaps did someone forget my drink, and they went out of their way to stop at the gas station to get me one out of their own pocket, which was extremely nice of them. Orders are always either fast, or super-duper fast... I have no idea how they keep everything flowing so quickly, even on busy weekends! Quality is very consistent too. Honestly there is another popular family-owned "Big Pizza" joint in town (if you live here, my hint will make sense!) and I gave up ordering there because it's expensive and the quality is extremely inconsistent, either great or horrible or in-between, and the service is slow. I prefer the Domino's here and won't go anywhere else. I've been a customer for about 6 years and I'm more than happy...
