They seem to have been short staffed. There was room in the dining area, but the hostess said they were waiting for servers before seating. (Understandable) We were encouraged to sit in the bar, which we did. Our server came over within a few minutes to take our drink order, returned w/ drinks, took our food order & returned w/ chips & salsa. Food was delivered pretty quickly, and was really good. That's where things fell apart. Our waitress didn't return for over 40 minutes. Our meals were finished, we stacked plates neatly, we figured we could order dessert on zoosk, but it wasn't working. We waited 10 more minutes, looking for our waitress, tried to flag a different server, no response. We tried to pay with zoosk, and again, it just buffered, not working. I finally caught our waitresses eye, and she came over & asked if we wanted to order dessert. We said "yes" as she collected our plates, and walked away. 10 minutes later, no sign of her. It's now 45 minutes after we've finished our meals, and drinks. She finally came over & said we could order dessert on the "device" as she turns it toward me, and walked away... It still wasn't working. I gently waved & she came over. We politely said we would just prefer our check. She, again said we could pay on the device, and slid it toward me. I said "we tried, but it isn't working". She said "ok, I'll be right back with the check"... 15 minutes later... Now an hour after we finished our meals. My boyfriend only had a large bill. We waited for her to come collect the bill & payment.. 18 minutes, no sign of her. We weren't about to leave a $40 tip, so I put down the cash I had, which didn't leave much for a tip, and we left. Sadly disappointed with the service. Short staffed, or not, the wait time to simply order a dessert (which we opted not to after zoosk failed, and the waitress ignoring us) or to pay our bill...
Read moreAvoid during weekdays, if it is M-F just go across the street to Plaza, terrible service and food was mostly good but only because the kitchen manager was busting his butt and very few folks were helping him. Went on a Wednesday with wife, ordered an appetizer, two entrees and two sides and drinks. Appetizer didn't show up for 15 minutes, entrees came just as we were digging into the appetizer, I was missing my side for a good ten minutes, waitress came five times while my mug was empty and didn't offer a refill, plates were not taken until check was delivered, wait staff was nowhere to be seen for most of the time and we were not offered dessert (not that we wanted it by the time this was all done). Us and other tables were wondering where our food was. Our sides were terrible, asked for a refund, waitress disappears for five minutes only to give us a check that still charged us after her manager said he took it off... a manager walking around with his pants hanging low and looking very unkempt that didn't even stop by our table to apologize. Finally got it straightened out, and after an hour and a half to eat and get everything settled (a good 30+ minutes of that being just waiting around), we finally gave a very reduced tip for the little service we got and left. Everybody was off the ball, management, wait staff and kitchen.
It is not like this on the weekends; we have gone several times on the weekend and the service was good and the food (which we have ordered before and again this unfortunate time) was good. But this time was so bad we are not likely to return to this branch of the franchise, much as we like Chili's. Next time, we'll be grabbing some good service...
Read more5 of us went in around 8 p.m..started off great..ordered drinks and food and it went downhill from there.. waiter was amazing but thats where it stopped..first the guy that brought the drinks over spilled lemonade all over my lap and said nothing..(he was trying to carry too many cups in one hand)..then majority of the food came out wrong..only 2 plates were correct..i have Chrons so spicy is a no-go..didnt notice the jalapenos till i already started eating cuz there were also green peppers in my food..took a minute to realize and we flagged the waiter xown and told him.. immediately im feeling PAIN..he remade a fresh one to go cuz we all had to leave now..he said he comped a bunch of stuff from our bill..(we also had a well done steak that was supposed to be medium rare and the jalapeno dish was for 2 people)..we had already seen the bill was $123 on the ziosk cuz the baby who was playing on it hit the wrong button pulling up the check..but after what it SAID was a $54 comp the bill was still $107🤔..now to me that math aint mathin but ok..not a problem..my issue was i didnt go there to get sick..because the ticket was made wrong our entire dinner was ruined since we all had to leave and i had a horrible flare up for 3 DAYS!! I DID tell them why it was a big deal and all it was worth to them was $16 off our check..mind u..it had to go thru the cook..the expediter and the food runner before hitting our table and not ONE of them noticed the mistakes?? Nor did the manager come to our table after learning of the issues..but they took a whole $16 off our bill..NEVER will we be going back to this...
