The sandwiches here are fine, but this particular location seems very disorganized. Even during the very busy lunch hour, there doesn't seem to be a dedicated person to work the register. People are cued up waiting to pay and they'll take one person's order, then walk away, come back, take another, walk away again. My biggest issue is with placing online orders. The entire point of ordering online is to save time. I order well in advance so that when I come there, I just want to pick up my sandwich and leave. But if I have to wait in a long line at the register, it totally defeats the purpose. Like many other quick-stop lunch spots that have online ordering, there needs to be a pick up area where online orders can just be "grab and go". Been to the shop on main st. In Oakley had high hopes however those hopes have been dashed several times. First the good: the ingredients are solid and have been fresh. Clean environment and comfortable. Now the not so good: Where is the MEAT? Stingy sandwich had a pastrami and Swiss and found one piece of Pastrami hidden between the bread. Tried it again a month later and had a roast beef Swiss. Having thought the pastrami experience an anomalie I found the same problem with a very stingy sandwich maker lotsa bread but very little meat. I love love Mr. Pickles, but I’m giving it a 3-star rating because they take SO long to take and make your order. I think Jimmy John’s could make sandwiches for my whole family by the time a Mr. Pickles employee put their gloves on to start being interested in making a sandwich. The sandwiches are fantastic, but I would encourage the ownership to work on training and efficiencies. It’ll help everybody, including you.
