I would not recommend getting a matcha latte here. This was by far the worst iced matcha latte I have ever had. You can tell by the color, how light the green is-that it’s going to be bad. It had ZERO matcha taste/flavor and just tasted like straight up milk. This was my first time going to this cafe so I was very disappointed. I basically paid $7 for light green milk. I haven’t had any coffee from here so I may go back try their coffee but the matcha is a definite NO. I couldn’t even finish it because it was just milk. Good quality matcha will be a bright green color and actually still be able to taste it with the milk. I find that Third Culture and Rooted have rich matcha lattes.

Update/reply to owner: Making an assumption about me getting free drinks from other cafes is crazy. I am not sure why you are mentioning “TikTok filters” or that I am receiving free drinks from your competitors just based off my experience with your matcha. Let me get this clear, I am NOT an influencer or content creator of any sort. I have NEVER received free drinks from any cafe, I spend my hard earned money on any other place just like I did with your cafe. I mentioned them because when I have gotten a matcha from these places they are always rich in flavor and color, so the quality speaks for itself. I am not promoting any other cafe. I have no affiliation with these cafes besides the fact that I have BOUGHT matcha from those places literally only an handful of times and always received quality matcha. So my review was to let other knows that your place basically just served me green milk with absolutely no matcha flavor at all. I also don’t need to be educated on matcha as I am very familiar with ceremonial grade matcha. I make my own at home when I have it and it always comes out great. I think the truth is that you all barely put any matcha in the latte and just loaded it up with tons of milk. If you can’t take the hard truth about the bad experience I had with your matcha latte then I don’t know what to tell you, but making assumptions isn’t the way to go about...

I am hoping there will be a response to this, correcting me if I am wrong. The shop is cozy, comfortable and clean, but the service can improve.

I went in this morning to have breakfast. I had brewed my own preferred coffee at home and just got their breakfast sausage sandwich (not that good, seemed premade a while ago and just reheated) and madelines.

I had to do some work so I sat there for a couple of hours. I was planning on having lunch and afternoon coffee at some point there too. Until around 1 pm it got so hot in there that it was unbearable. I had to get up and leave. As I was exiting I noticed the owner look at me out of the corner of their eyes, saying no ‘thank you’ or ‘goodbye’, as if they were frustrated for my staying there too long with little consumption and had made it deliberately too hot to chase me out... Same guy earlier had pointed to the bucket of dirty dishes when I brought mine to the counter to give it to him (I would’ve taken that dish and thanked the customer who cleaned after themselves instead).

Again, I hope I am wrong, but it all felt too...
