Pet Food Express — Local services in Walnut Creek

I absolutely love this store. Highlights are that the staff are extremely, extremely friendly, the pet wash stations are excellent, the store itself is extremely clean, and all the products are awesome. My little pup and I lived right next to this store for about a year and we both loved popping in (especially him). It was always a highlight of our day!

Friendly staff: everyone here is so nice. My dog's favorite thing to do every day was to go there and visit and get pats and love from the people at the store. They are all super friendly and I also love chatting with them. Jade, Camarin, Adrian, Lindsay, shiney and Carly in particular were awesome. But everyone was friendly. It is a really nice environment to come into whether you were buying anything or not. ⁠cleanliness: the store is just squeaky clean. At all times. It is awesome. ⁠pet wash stations: best pet wash stations I’ve been to. More water, shampoo comes out through the water, stations are clean, and they give you a little treats and towels. Also better prices here than on the East Coast. It’s the only thing I found in NorCal that was less expensive and better quality than something similar in my hometown of Washington DC. This is hands down my favorite pet store and also favorite Pet Food Express location. I've been to multiple PFE locations and this one stands out because of the amazing employees that work here. I come here at least once a week to stock up on food or other cat supplies and every time I walk in, the employees will ask how my cats are doing or if there's anything in particular I need. If I purchased a new product recently they somehow remember exactly what it is and ask how it's going with it. It's things like this that make me want to keep shopping here because it shows that the employees listen and care about their customers. I think all the employees are wonderful here, but I really want to emphasize that this store has a great manager (Ryan), assistant manager (Jackson), and a store associate named Marisa. These three employees always answer my questions and go above and beyond with taking their time to help my needs. As I mentioned before I come to this location often, sometimes even multiple times a week, and they are always eager to help me find whatever I need. Most of the toys and treats my cats love are thanks to their wonderful suggestions. This store is also my favorite because of it's size and they also have a cat adoption center. I went into my local Pet Food Express here in Walnut Creek. I must say that we were more than impressed by the staff including the Manager. She and I had a chat about Ubiquinol and how it is effective for dogs suffering with Heart disease.

The cashier and ALL of the staff here are beyond lovely. I love PetFoodExpress for being a CONSCIOUS company for starters. With that said, the staff here are definitely true animal lovers! They also know how to treat people and their fur companions!

I genuinely love to spend my money here as they not only carry the best but also treat customers with care and respect.

It was the first time visiting a PetFoodExpress for my friend that tagged along. I had to return an item and the staff went above and beyond for us. Showered my Tinky with love and attention too. Just an overall stellar store with first class employees.
