The woman I spoke with to who tried to help me was very difficult to work with to the point I left unnecessarily frustrated. I came in trying to buy a flip phone for my elder parent, I called before and they told me no problem come in and we have for you. As soon as I arrive I’m like let me get that flip phone, the lady goes in the back and comes out with it. I was happy until she looked me in my face and told me yeah I can’t sell you this. I’m like why? I was told I could come in and purchase this keep in mind I like kind of far away and have to Bart to this location. The woman just looks at me blank like im stupid and then starts getting aggressive as soon as I’m wondering what happen? I ask her once more politely and explain that I’ve been trying to get this phone for my elder father who can’t use a smart phone. She doesn’t explain to me why she can’t sell me it and doesn’t try to do anything to help me but she keeps waving the phone around just to tell me she can’t sell me it. I ask her if she could contact me when/if it is ready to buy and she just flat out tells me no. I felt like I was a burden to these workers here and I don’t like it. I’ve been a T-Mobile customer since 2009 and usually I don’t get this kind of experience. I wish I got the woman’s name but I will go back and get her name, she was white and brown hair. Anyways this experience made me question my loyalty to this brand. I went to the pleasant hill t mobile location and I got way better service than here. I hope I never have to...
Read moreI came over from AT&T to my wife’s plan on T-mobile because they were having a $700 off promotion for eligible iPhones with a trade-in. I followed all the guides to the “T” to make sure I would get this promotion. After several billing cycles of being charged for the portion of the phone that was supposed to be covered by the promotion, and after several calls with T-mobile billing, I finally went into the store for help. The manager, Ken, told me to my face that he would help rectify this situation but just needed some time to reach out to the promotions team. When I followed up with him he LIED to me and told me I bought the phone one day outside of the promotion, which was utter nonsense. Ken couldn’t have been more uninterested in T-mobile trying to scam me out of my promotion. I finally found a resolution with an agent through Facebook messenger of all places, which just goes to show that Ken did in fact lie as I was within the promotional guidelines. Don’t go here if you want to deal with shady business practice and and a manager who gives you...
Read moreI switched to T-Mobile about three months ago. At the time, the store representative (a young lady with wavy brown hair) promised me I would receive the Insider discount. Unfortunately, I never received it.
I went back to the store and spoke with another representative who also confirmed that I should be getting the discount, but nothing ever showed up on my account. Today I called T-Mobile customer service, and they told me there is no record of any discount being applied.
This feels very misleading. The store staff made promises that were never honored, and I feel scammed for trusting them. If you plan to sign up at this location, make sure you get everything in writing and signed, otherwise you may end up wasting your time and energy fighting for something that should have been straightforward.
I’m very disappointed with how this store handled my account and would not recommend trusting their word without proper...
