They say they're open til 1, so I ordered using the Wendy's app around 11:45 as my shift was finishing up. I got here at 12:03, and after being ignored at the window for several minutes was told that if I had ordered through Doordash they would've served me, but since I used the Wendy's app they "couldn't."
...So naturally I pulled around, parked, downloaded the Doordash app, made an account, and placed the SAME order again through Doordash (even paid about $10 extra because I am desperate) and was still refused. I could've had time to make it to a different restaurant if I hadn't come to this Wendy's first, but now sadly everything is closed. They had plenty of time to notify me about the strange Doordash Drivers Only policy after confirming my order, but did not. I couldn't find any sort of note anywhere about this Doordash policy, just that they were open until 1AM, which I mistakenly assumed meant they weren't discriminating within that time frame. The public hours are apparently secret knowledge.
Still have no idea when they actually close, but PLEASE update that information here as well as on your official Wendy's app. And maybe add a note that says you only serve Doordash Drivers (and I will emphasize DRIVERS here because apparently they won't serve Doordash pickup orders either. It seems that they only serve Doordash DELIVERY orders, and will deny service if the person picking it up is the actual recipient of the order for some incomprehensible reason. I'm honestly not quite clear on the rules here.)
They went on to serve plenty of food out of the window as I watched from the parking lot while placing my ill-fated Doordash pickup order, despite saying they "can't" make my food, so I'm starting to think they just had something against me personally, because clearly they COULD, they just didn't want to....
Read moreI used to work at this location. I’m posting this because I care about the customers more than to just stay silent about it. I would suggest to avoid this Wendy’s. The standards are subpar at best, the place is almost always noticeably dirty, and half of the time they’ve run out of a certain item. But it’s not their fault. This place is constantly understaffed and most of the staff that is there are kids, especially at night. People don’t want to work there and honestly I don’t blame them one bit. When everyone else around you doesn’t care, what’s motivating you to care? When they don’t have enough staff they lock the dining room doors and only do drive thru. And if they do have the dining room open it’s sometimes just the kiosks in the back. There is a few good people working there who actually care, they know who they are. And I still have love for them, I hope they’re doing well. But they also know well that there’s not much they can do. This location was shut down by the health department a couple years ago for lack of cleanliness, and it took almost an entire day to clean it back up. I‘ve never been offered more weed anywhere else than when I worked at this place.
And yet even after all these negative reviews and even the VP flying in to check in on the place after it was shut down, nothing seems to change. Sure you might get decent food some of the time, but is it...
Read moreWhile waiting to decide what to order, I noticed an older man with a young girl order a salad for him and something for her. He got his order, couldn't find any fork, and asked the young lady serving him for a fork. She told him there was none. How do you eat a salad with no fork?! Two young ladies knocked on the window for us to open the door. Thinking it was just stuck my sister opened it for them. The older worker yelled at my sister..."are you letting people in?" My sister replied yes. The worker loudly said: "the doors are locked for a reason, we are understaffed". There were a minimum of 9 to 10 people turned away! When the young ladies went to order, the young server was eating a frosty while she was talking to them, which she continued eating throughout our visit. The manager was doing all the work, at the drive-up, filling orders, even going in the back for supplies. The restaurant itself was dirty with napkins on the floor and remainder of ketchup containers on the tables. I asked to speak to the manager, Adam and told him my concerns and how I noticed that he was doing all tha work, and why. He responded that if he didn't do it, it wouldn't get done! So very pathetic that management does all the work while the young "server" leans against one counter than another eating her frosty. BTW, Adam had to fill the frosty machine himself leaving the...
