I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with the service I received from your bakery regarding a wedding cake I ordered for my niece’s wedding. I paid $230 for a cake that was meant to be a centerpiece of our celebration, only to find that it was not served as planned because it was still frozen. The wedding was a significant event for our family, and your failure to deliver as promised was both disheartening and frustrating. The most distressing part of this experience was your suggestion that the cake would be fine to serve the next day. This was not only illogical but also insulting. How could I possibly tell our guests to return for cake after the festivities were over? This suggestion reflects a lack of understanding of the nature and importance of such events. The insensitivity displayed in your response was truly unacceptable. Furthermore, your subsequent offer to refund only $40 of the $230 payment added insult to injury. You had previously promised a 20% refund, which would amount to $46. The shortfall in the refund only compounded our disappointment, as it fell short of the courtesy that should have been extended after the mistakes that occurred. The negligence exhibited by your bakery not only marred a special day but also undermined the professional standards your business should uphold. Such experiences can significantly impact potential customers' decisions, as reliability and sensitivity to clients' needs are paramount in event planning. In light of this experience, I feel compelled to share my review to ensure others are aware of the risks involved in engaging your services for their significant events. My intention is not solely to express dissatisfaction but to prevent others from encountering similar distress and disappointment.
I hope you will take this feedback seriously and use it to improve your service standards, thereby avoiding such issues for future...
Read moreI solely went here for red velvet cake; red velvet is my favorite cake/cupcake.
I walked in and a woman came from the back. She smiled and welcomed me. I asked for red velvet and she was excited to let me know they had some on hand. I was excited, being that I drove 30 mins away.
The price was good and it came in a cute box with the company's name on it. While she was packaging my order. She informed me that customers can rent out the space for events with a max of 30 guests. The facility is cute and clean. She also informed that they host decorating classes as well.
Now, I didn't care for my cupcake. It looked dry and it was. The price and color were good, but the taste and texture were not good to me. The other cupcakes that were on display didn't have a wow factor appearance. So, I didn't try anything more.
PROS-great customer service and nice facility. CONS- too far, dislike for...
