T.J. Maxx — Local services in Warner Robins

Visited TJMAXX in Warner Robins, GA today to make a return and a purchase. Once my transaction was complete the cashier never bothered to say thank you or have a nice day. I asked the cashier next to her was he a manager, he replied that he was an associate, I asked do they train the employees to be courteous and say thank you to their customers, he replied yes, but did not offer an apology or thank you , so I asked can someone tell me thank you and that's when he did, the female cashier never said a word. I worked in Customer Service as the Lead Representative for 8 years my last assignment before retiring from the government for a total of 42 years and I trained all my employees to be kind, professional and courteous but mainly to always say thank you to the customer and to have a great day. I shop quit often and spend lots of money there and I'm not deserving of a thank you or have a great day? Customer service is not the same in today's society as it was when I was growing up, people who had business trained their employees to always be kind, professional and courteous to their customer, and to always say thank you, even if the customer was rude which I was not. It really makes me think twice about going back. And I'm not the only one who feels this way, a lot of my friends have experience the same type behavior when they shop there.

My favorite store. Hands Down. From clothing, shoes, to home decore. I Love this store. Affordable Name Brands. In need of a new purse, they got you. They heave a large selection of beautiful and Affordable Name Brand purses. Large selection for Juniors,Misses,Mens, all though I wish they had a larger selection of clothing line for men. The Mens area is kinda small. Work out clothing to work out accessories. Traveling soon, They also have beautiful selections on luggage. Can't find it in store. You will definitely find it on their website. They also carry a very good quality of bedding supplies from bedsheets,comforter,euro pillow, and pillow cases for it. They also have a good quality selection for men and women's perfumes and cologne to body spray. Facial supplies, they also have body creams to beauty supplies. It’s been a few months now, but I can’t stop thinking about what a positive experience we had at this store back in April. My son and I were in the store shopping when tornado sirens starting going off. It all happened really fast. The power went out and the staff gathered everyone and took us to the back of the store away from the windows. We were there sheltering in place for at-least 30 minutes and the employees did everything they could to keep us all calm. My son, who is 5 wasn’t even scared because of the way it was handled. They kept us there until the storm cleared and knew it was safe for the customers to leave. Unfortunately, the power was still out so no one could check out but they took down phone numbers and kept our items at the front desk so that we could come back. I know that a lot of stores just care about liability but I truly felt compassion that day and it restored some of my faith...
