Motown's Pizza — Restaurant in Warren

Was hungry & scrolling thru Google when I seen a video of someone opening their delicious pie as they panned into the Motown’s brown box.

Put that guy on your internet advertising team. We placed an order & man, they must of been busy, took a few minutes longer than quoted. Which is never a problem on Friday night. Especially when the food shows up with an apologetic delivery driver and the pizza looking and smelling like it did.

Food was delicious! The square was cooked crisp, corners were crunchy, sauce to cheese ratio was money. The sauce had great flavor & the greasy pepperoni cups filled with Parmesan cheese, damn….. don’t think we didn’t notice that. The garlic knots at 3.99 is the best app at that price in Macomb County.

Traditional wings were ok. Half garlic Parmesan didn’t work for me but I liked the honey bbq bones. Flats were better than drumsticks.

They also have a spot in my heart for that lamb gyro pizza. I’m at a lost to tell you how well everything under the cheese & above the crispy crust tasted. Creamy, gooey, crunchy from the sliced yellow onions. The chunks of flavorful lamb and feta peppered into those base of flavors. I have to admit, I did remove the Sriracha sauce & wonder if I might get that on half next time. Great Pizza, can’t wait to see their take on other apps &...

I came accross Motown by happenstance--it was a love affair born from necessity but will endure in passion.

Upon entering the small storefront, the images on the windows and tv-based menu don't match the quality of the culinary experience.

I am very happy to say that I will happily eat my way through this menu. A newer addition to the area, Motown serves up halal pizza, wings, burgers, sandwiches, cheese bread, etc.

Hospitality is abundant--the gentleman running the shift eagerly handed me a slice of cheese deep dish to try while I waited for my NY style pie.

The Detroit-style deep dish is better than many of the competitor's options. Crispy fluffy dough reminiscent of Puzza Hut (but better) and cheese/sauce that matches or beats Jet's. Love at first bite!

We ordered a lg pizza and got it half lamb gyro and half Hawaiian. The Lamb gyro pizza was FANTASTIC! Every bite is full of flavor! And the spicy sauce that’s drizzled on top is a great spice!! Not too spicy to cancel out the other flavors but spicy enough to enhance every bite! The Hawaiian half was just as good! The ham pieces were juicy and so were the pineapples! And it wasn’t salty at all like some places. The The garlic crust we ordered on the pizza added flavor. The crust of the pizza was flavorful, had a nice crispy crunch with a nice airy and soft top. We also got garlic knots! They were so light and fluffy and GARLICY! They were delicious. Everything we got was delicious. The WINGS are so good too! Mild sauce was bussin! We were in the area from NY and we were so glad we picked Motown! It was so good we came back and ordered a small lamb...
