I am definitely one to praise a business when they do well, so this isn’t one of those posts where the person only gives feedback when they’re upset. This is a true and honest review.!
I placed my order online and had it set for delivery. The app said the entire process from receiving the order at the store to having it dropped at my door would be 35-45 mins. Sounds reasonable. I placed the order at 5:30p and since I signed up for text alerts I received a text at 6:00p telling me my order was on the way. I thought to myself, okay cool, right in line with the estimate I was given. I live 1 mile away so I thought I’d have the order in no time. NOPE.!!! I did not receive my order until 6:50p. I’m sorry, but no amount of traffic in the world (especially after rush hour) can take so long that it takes you almost an hr to drive 1 mile. When he finally got here it wasn’t even that they had given him more than one order and I had to wait until he could make multiple stops, it was that they processed the order early and he wasn’t ready, then came the “I encountered traffic” excuse too.
I totally get it. We are all humans and none of us are perfect, but after calling the store two times they were irritated with me for being frustrated, not once apologizing for the lateness, just giving excuses. When you’re working for a company you have to put forth that company’s values with each order and they failed both the company and the customer today. My pizza was so cold and hard it felt like I had just pulled it out of my fridge. The only reason I gave them two stars is because the mini Cinnabon rolls smoothed it over. They were also cold as ever, but after popping them into the microwave they...
Read moreHad the worst experience of my life. Two large pizza's and $32's later. Sending someone to pick up pizza on there way back with house full of people. Pizza's were not cooked all the way, even the cheese! I didn't get to eat right away. That is when I discovered the problem and couldn't eat it. I tried to bring it back, NEVER done this before. Apparently, when you have very hungry people, i was supposed to do everything myself. Stopped what I was doing to pick up pizza, inspect it in restaurant, and taste to see if it is cooked. When I tried to get my money back, I was told to bring it back in. Little children don't know to stop eating uncooked pizza, husband was really to hungry to care and guests won't say anything till I started to question it. So parts of pizzas were gone but my pieces, the bite I tried to eat, half a piece a child couldn't eat and a crust from one that didn't. Two adults ate most of there's. Some crust in garbage. I brought what I could to Pizza Hut at 13 mile and Van Dyke. I was told I ate half and that he would not refund the pizzas. He was the snottiest person I have ever experienced. I told him I was coming here since I was a kid and never had this happen. Manager there didn't care and said it didn't matter, that he is not short of business anyway. Well, see for yourself at the pics... I brought two boxes in by the way. I guess I should have went in garbage and grabbed more. If I asked for credit, I won't have had to bring pizzas in. In that case, I wanted my money. I didn't know when or if I would have returned after going there to return it at this point. See pics for yourself...
Read moreOn July 1, my children and I spent the whole day at summer camps, cleaning the house, and running errands. In the afternoon, our special dinner was going to pizza hut. Yes, pizza hut of all places. We walked three miles to the Pizza at 31315 Van Dyke Ave, Warren, MI 48093 with a wagon and a steel water bottle in 70 degrees. After about an hour and half of walking we arrived at the Pizza Hut. Tired, hungry and accomplished, ready for our treat. As soon as we entered, a woman of large size with a blond ponytail and unclean shirt told us, and I quote," You can not bring the water bottle in here." I said, " it's empty, there is nothing inside." She said "you can't fill up in here and you can't have it in here." The empty water bottle that moments ago was filled with the last ice water to sustain my children not collapsing in the sun. I looked at my children, no need to explain their disappointment.
A t the location, there are not fountain drinks at the location accessible to patrons. So there is not boards or policies stating that someone who walked over an hour would not be able to bring an an empty water bottle.
This was clearly discrimination and my children and I were denied services after walking over an hour to Pizza Hut. Does Pizza have a policy about steel water canters when patrons walk over an hour to their locations. Is this policy enough to...
