Mex Express Grill — Restaurant in Warsaw

Placed online order on a Monday evening at 5:45. As I was planning the order it showed 10-15 minute wait. Placed the order and now it won't be ready until 6:30. One order of Arroz con Pollo, nothing else. Take my time, arrive at 6:20 and nobody is dining, 3 people in line. I'm told my order isn't ready as they are still cooking the seasoned rice. "We can give you white rice". "Ok, do that." I hear same employee offer white rice to one of the other customers as the seasoned rice is still cooking. Other customer says yes, gets food and leaves. Everyone has gotten there food and is gone. Employee says it is still going to be a little bit but as they are out of rice. Asked for a refund and left. 45 minutes and can't have a simple dish containing just rice, chicken, and cheese, ready. Plenty of taquerias in the area that always have that ready in 10-15 minutes. I was not rude to your employee. I waited 10 minutes, patiently, then was told it was still going to be a bit, so I asked if he could refund it and expressed in frustration that it shouldn't take almost an hour for Arroz con Pollo. As for not allowing them to serve white rice, because then you would be out of both? There was nobody else in line and I had already paid...

I think the food is delicious and decently priced for the portions you get. 10/10 on flavor and portion sizes. I would choose this place over Moe's any day. My only complaint is what I see multiple other people have complained about, which is that there is too much juice. Meat being juicy is a good thing but the person working on the line needs to use a slotted scoop so when they are loading meat into the burrito, bowl or taco...it's not soup, it's just meat and maybe a little juice. I got a burrito and it was falling apart from all the liquid after 2 bites. Such a simple fix and it will be perfect. Also word of advice, maybe stop attacking customers who give any criticism. Take it as constructive criticism and use it to continue to improve and grow your business. Finally, get to try the place. They offer a variety of different items you can get, and what I really like is the assortment of meat. I love queso, I asked if spicy and was told no, but then the person went on to explain jalapeños are mixed in with it. Right away tells me there is some type of spice. He may think it's not spicy, but to me, it is spicy. I did a bowl with extra meat. I asked if the Baria was spicy and was told no, it looked good, really juicy. I started eating it and because the Baria does have spice, I unfortunately may have only been able to eat a fourth of my bowl, had to avoid the Baria the spiciness became to much. I should have asked if I could sample the meat before I picked one that was to spicy for my.
