We had dinner and breakfast at this restaurant. For dinner I ordered the Grilled Chicken Alfredo and my wife ordered crab cakes. Both were delicious. The potion size was huge. It included a bowl of the pasta covered with a full chicken breast. I order the Soup of the Day, Vegetable Beef, as a side and it was delicious and chock full of vegetables with a good amount of beef. My wife said her crab cakes were delicious as well.
For breakfast I ordered a half-order of biscuits and gravy with two sides of sausage and my wife ordered the spinach and mushroom omelette. A half order had three biscuit halves. The gravy contained a lot of sausage bits but I like even more so I ordered the patties. I also ordered a side of gravy. It was delicious and I cleaned my plate. My wife's omelette was very good and it must have been made with three eggs. It was a generous helping. It also came with hashbrown potatoes. The potatoes filled up half the plate.

Seeing the 3.6 score on the Pallete, an American Eatery, we were reluctant to eat there. We stayed at the Wyndham, overslept a little and decided to have breakfast next door at the Pallete since is was very handy. Besides, how can breakfast get messed up anyway, right? We were very pleasantly surprised. I had the egg, ham and hash browns. My wife decided the veggie omelette. I fully expected the typical slice of processed ham, but received a generous portion of whole ham. You could tell it was cut right around the bone. Very tasty and quite a treat. The tomatoes had the stem still inside both slices ( big no no in any kitchen that has any experience). If you're going to put pasta to go, put it in the right container, not a Styrofoam box, and if you need to use a knife also put it in the correct container. It's the little things that show me they have very poor management with no one trying to make things right, and they definitely cannot compete with newer more modern restaurants in the area...
