Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in Warsaw

Okay, I don't normally post reviews, but my experience with this restaurant's service is not one I want other people to have to experience. The food's not awful and the delivery staff is usually polite. However, a friend of mine missed her delivery notification call (after specifying that she wanted to be notified via text) and received a very passive-aggressive voicemail from the delivery person. She saw the notification, picked up her delivery within a minute, and apologized for missing the call, yet the employee continued to be rude and demanded a large tip for having to wait.

Transcript of the voicemail: WILL J. : Hi [friend's name], this is Papa John's. We're downstairs in the main lobby with your friend. She's getting her pizza, but you haven't come down to get yours because you won't answer your phone. Anyway, I'm waiting. Thanks, bye.

(Also, complaining about being a father of four who has to deliver pizza to support his family in order to guilt trip a college student for not providing a large tip is highly unprofessional, not to mention just plain low).

I work in a public school kitchen and the health inspections and constant hand washing to guard against cross contamination is very strictly followed so when I noticed the cashier handling money and touching the screen while taking orders and tearing off receipts to hand to customers then going directly over to prep dough WITHOUT WASHING HANDS or at least putting on gloves.........I was floored!! I realize that others, including my husband, took no notice, it really irritated me and even grossed me out a little. I watched several times thinking I was surely missing something. But NO. Over and over I observed this "offense" being repeated. Maybe they aren't required to follow such guidelines and maybe I'm just a little over the top given the job I do everyday, but nevertheless, I was amazed and disappointed by the lack of protocol. The pizza was brought home and tasted good, but I could only eat one piece. Maybe it's just my own personal hang up. You can decide for yourself. Service was quick. Parking easy and close to the door. Employees were not overly friendly,...

I ordered one large pizza on a Friday night. I accurately expected them to be busy, as it was an estimated 45-55 minutes to complete my order. When I arrived at the 55-minute mark, my order still wasn't complete. 10 minutes later, my pizza was called out. I stood at the counter and had to wait for the cashier to put 22 stickers on empty pizza boxes before even being acknowledged. Once I returned home with my pizza and opened the box, I was completely disappointed. I ordered and paid for extra pizza sauce, but there was NOT extra sauce on my pizza. Upon looking at my pizza (see picture), there were 4 places that looked like someone took big bites out of the pizza. There was no sauce or cheese in those areas, just a thin layer of the bottom crust. Unfortunately, and regardless of my affinity for Papa John's pizza, I would not recommend ordering from this...
