Angelico Pizzeria — Restaurant in Washington

What happened to this place? New management? New owners? From five to zero starts what seemed like overnight. I used to recommend this place all the time. Now I recommend you stay as far away as possible if you don't want to get ripped off. From delivery in 20 mins to now taking nearly an hour. When I called previously I got good customer service. Recently was pretty much told "Delivery time isn't guaranteed so tough.." I've spent thousands over the last 5-8 years at Angelico and they blew me off like this? Delivery driver tells me he has no change for a $33 order trying to scam a $7 tip out of me. Never heard about it so he must have been trying to run a scam. Sends out promotions and doesn't honor them. $9.99 large "Monday Madness any large pie any toppings. I place an order and am told "no discount I was told" by the driver. I tell him to take it back than. He comes back with a COUNTER OFFER of $15. Who knows if he was telling the truth or just making it all up to make himself a quick extra $5 - $10.

Edit: I spoke to the manager and he explained they were having some staffing trouble. Hopefully they'll solve these problems and return to their previous state because the food is very good, especially...

This place should get zero stars. I've decided to try them again and it was a complete failure on their part. I ordered online on Sunday 11/12/17 at 12:34 pm, as I've always done in the past and received two emails regarding my order. Then I wait and wait, there is no follow up email regarding my order. I called once, no answer, called back immediately put on hold, then I am informed my order will be here shortly, this is at 1:43 pm. I wait more and I have no delivery yet. I call again and the woman was beyond rude, raised her voice at me stating they have one driver and told me that she already informed me it would be here shortly and then hangs up on me. I call back to speak with a manager but my call is immediately hung up on. Where's the customer service? If you are bothered by customers and pizza orders, by all means seek other employment. I went to the Angelico restaurant on Georgia ave NW. Ordered a steak sandwich step out for a moment came back to see the person fixing my sandwich with no gloves on placing their hand over r he top of my sandwich to cut not to mention seeing my sandwich sitting out on a cutting board as she returns to it from a conversation. She picked my sandwich up with both hands placing into a box and then proceeded to bring it to me. I asked her about the fact that she did not have on gloves that's when she told me her hands were clean, then laughing told me she'll ware gloves next time. I could not being my self to eat the sandwich without the thought of someone's hands all over it. I only wonder what else if anything is not right inside this restaurant.
