Jack's Famous Deli — Restaurant in Washington

I ordered 6 wings fried hard with french fries on December 19. After i got back to my office ready to eat and all i noticed that there was so much salt on my wings. I didn’t enjoy the wings because it was way too much obey on the chicken. This is not the first this has happened. I called up to Jacks restaurant and told them that this is the second time i’ve ordered wings from here and you guys put to much salt on the chicken wings. Before i could get some names of the people who was working in the kitchen that day; they hurry up and told me will give you a discount when you come back. Today i went to jacks and trying to explain to them about what happened on December the 19th and they were trying to blow me off and told me “you didn’t get that chicken from here. After going back and forth for about 5min i showed them a picture of the wings i bought from them on 12/19/24 and after that they finally agreed to give me a discount on my lunch for today. Also i ordered the wings and fries today; this time they forgot to give me my fries. So i say all this to say don’t spend your money with these folks!! There are other places in the city that will give you good customer service and give you what you paid for without trying to give you high blood pressure!! The soup and sandwiches are good but unfortunately I cannot patron at this nor the Indiana Ave location. I bought a piece of New York style cheesecake but it taste extremely spoiled and TERRIBLE. The manager at the 3rd St told me to bring it so she could give me credit but I had already put it in the trash. She further said to get it out of the trash and bring it so she could give me a credit but couldn’t talk longer cause she was going on her lunch break. Never apologized and clearly not worried about anyone else possibly buying a piece of the expired cheesecake. Not safe to eat there after seeing the owner think so little of me possibly getting ill from something...

This was a very disappointing experience. I have been here at least 8 times over a year. Today, was the first time I called in my order. When I got back to eat the sandwich it was plain and had nothing on it. The woman who took my order, repeated my order three times to me over the phone. Therefore, I didn’t believe I needed to check it at the deli. Last, I called back and asked for some sort of a discount on my next order because I was not able to come back to the location today- due to my busy schedule. The owner denied that request as stated she needed me to come back. Do not go here unless you check your food because they are unwilling to accommodate...
