Nice & Easy — Restaurant in Washington

Just left feeling very deflated (6/22 6pm) We were completely ignored by the bartender for 20 minutes (yes I watched the clock) before leaving while the girl in the bandana took other peoples orders (RIGHT NEXT TO US) and dried glasses. She didn’t do much as even look our way. I’ll add that she was also quite rude to the people asking questions about the beer pong table. I really don’t know what the attitude was all about but I’ve been here before and had excellent service. I’m really disappointed and don’t feel like I’ll be coming back anytime soon because of this. Named after a biker bar in Florida that served as a front for a bank robber, there's nothing counterfeit about Nice & Easy in Washington, D.C. Down an alley near a taco takeout spot comes a no-frills, accessible bar with plenty of seating and lots of fun. There's a pool table, a juke box, and a small stage.

The drink menu is large with $10 cocktails during happy hour Monday-Friday from 5-7 p.m. Outside of that, cocktails are $14 and they have nine. There's draft beer, wine, and other options. They have Bold Rock cider and even a sour. I didn't see a food menu.

Discovering Nice and Easy was a very pleasant surprise. As a NoMa neighbor, I often passed by but never thought to go in because the bar didn’t look inviting from the outside. However, a friend insisted we check it out, and I must say it's much better than it appears at first glance. The atmosphere is great, with latin music on Fridays and Saturdays.
