this has been the PERFECT spot for lunch over the summer while i was interning in d.c. and wanted a quick, well balanced, filling meal.

the rice bowls are delicious and definitely worth the price for the food you’re getting. it’s hard to find food that isn’t too expensive but still feels like a full meal in this city, but rice bar is amazing for this craving. i recommend mixing a ton of the sauces to get extra flavor.

also, the staff are so lovely and hardworking! i usually came in before the rush hour but their ability to collaborate and still be so kind to everyone who comes in is amazing (i could not handle the pressure). there is one guy who is especially friendly and it was so kind of him to remember the faces and have conversations with the people who were regulars.

needless to say, 5/5✨and if i’m ever in the area again i will absolutely be stopping by. if your team sees this thank you so much for everything, eating lunch here was the highlight...

We stopped by after walking around the National Archives, and were pleasantly surprised. They have a stack of menus with check boxes to fill out so I could take my time without feeling the pressure of those in line behind me. Once I made my decision, I handed my slip to the friendly woman behind the counter. It only took a minute or two to get a hot bowl of ramen! All of the ingredients were delicious on their own and complimented each other well. My partner got the bibimbap which was equally as tasty. The prices were very reasonable for the area, the restaurant was clean and bright, and the service was great. I’m already planning my...

The food was delicious but the atmosphere was much less than ideal. We arrived 40 minutes before closing and sat down with our food at about 30 minutes before closing. A guy from the back came into the dining room and started stacking the chairs on the table in a very loud, rude manner. He then came back with a mop that had the strongest smell of bleach and proceeded to mop the floors all around us. The smell of bleach was overpowering so we finished our food quickly and left (still 15-20 minutes before the posted...

As it was my first time visiting Washington D.C, this place being my first ever restaurant, it did not disappoint. Service was great as the workers helped me navigate through ordering. The bowl was delicious and they even helped me properly dispose of my bowl after I couldn’t finish all the broth. Ingredients were fresh & the facility was clean. The vibes were great & I am definitely bringing my coworkers to visit once we visit D.C again:) I loved it here. My fav place to eat in D.C!

The flavor for this food is fantastic. Please be aware: if you are ordering within 30 minutes of closing, food will lbe warm to cold. Yes, some toppings might not be designated as hot, but chicken and beef (in this order) were likely kept at 110F. A lot of restaurants will save on cost by reducing heat used to keep food warm, especially near closing. I will change to a better rating if they improve this in the future, or respond to this concern...

Great spot, brought my Korean mom here and she loved it. She said her food was a bit salty but otherwise delicious. The man who served us also spoke Korean so it felt like an authentic space. The variety of options are nice and the food looked fresh. Overall, delicious and great experience. Highly recommend if you are in the area to check it out!
