I've eaten at Roti a few times in the past, and it's adequate, but I have had much better falafel elsewhere in the DMV. Since this location is right near Farragut Sq, its customer base is pretty much 100% from white collar workers from nearby offices. Therefore, it's only open Monday through Friday! Given that this is the case, you're much better off just going to the DC ballers food truck -- it's usually at Farragut Sq (or elsewhere nearby) at least a couple of times a week. Overall, Roti has very efficient service, a la Chipotle or Chopt, and their hummus isn't bad, but overall it just isn't at the top of my list of places at which I'd prefer to eat... I would definitely say give it a try, but don't expect it...

Within minutes of eating my meal I started to feel queasy and soon after I started to vomit uncontrollably due to food poisoning. When I went back to the restaurant and spoke to the manager she showed no sympathy and didn't even pull either the steak meat(which was probably the reason I became sick) and just made a huge joke about it. I literally regurgitated that terrible second-to-Chipotle-food right in the bathroom and was genuinely disgusted more with the lack of care by the staff than the food poisoning I received. If you want any other food just go to Whole...
Read moreWe visited Pita during our stay in DC. I ordered through grubhub and my order was quickly and thoughtfully prepared. The kids bowl was substantial and easily filled my daughter up. The bowl was separated by ingredients so a picky child could eat what they liked. Ingredients were fresh and delicious. I had a pita with kabob salmon. I especially liked the crispy chickpeas. There was plenty of seating outside on a gorgeous winter day. I also appreciated the reasonable prices. A kids meal for $6 is great. I completely recommend this stop for a filling, healthy, quick, cheaper option...
