Geno's Pizza — Restaurant in Waterloo

Genos Pizza has been a stable of the community as long as I can remember. It is the best pizza in town. It has recently been sold and so I can't speak of how it will be when it's moved out of the mall. But I will say growing up and getting genos and working at the mall, the best part was always Curtis. Everything good about this place was him and I hope the new owners can still embody his spirit and customer interaction.

This isn't a review of tasting the pizza. I'm just sitting here watching this guy make the pizzas with my girlfriend and I can tell he is putting value into what he is making. The guy is taking care of that dough, putting a real generous amount of sauce, using seasoning on top of the sauce and a couple handfuls of cheese. It's alot of cheese, like if you were to buy that amount of cheese that he is using at a store you would spend 5-7 dollars just on the cheese. This guy clearly knows what he is doing, and if I could afford it considering my car has been broken down and I spent $750 on random hotels and stuff, I would definitely be giving him my money...

You will not find a business owner more dedicated to his customers than Curtis! He puts in the work 7 days a week to make sure his customers receive the best possible experience. You will be hard pressed to find a pizza in the Cedar Valley that tastes better, or has more heart put into it than a slice at Geno’s. If you’re ever craving something that he doesn’t have available, you can call ahead or stop by and give him a few minutes and he will always be happy to have it ready for you!
