We were a party of 3. My husband ordered steak and said it was good and one of the better ones around the area. The carrots were very delicious. My MIL and I ordered the mushroom ravioli. Although the description provided by the waitress was different than what arrived, my MIL was very happy with the meal. The waitress was very observant that I was not pleased and asked if it was ok. I explained it was not as I expected but understood it was a misunderstanding and I did not want to reorder. I was very satisfied with the delicious bread provided and fried pickle/pepper appetizer so did not feel hungry enough to complain and knew someone at home would love the leftovers. I really appreciate that the waitress explained the situation to the manager who in turn talked to me and offered me a drink on the house. And at the end, we saw they took 20% off my meal. This is an example of exemplary customer service. While the food was good, it’s for this reason I will go again, bring more family, and recommend...
Read moreI was so looking forward to this new restaurant. The server was very nice , but I think was the only server there even though it wasn’t busy. We weren’t a needy crew, but any time we needed water or something in the order that was missing we would have to ask, and then the wait for service was long. For example, the “loaded baked potato- meaning butter and sour cream” was so cool that it wouldn’t even melt the butter. The server kindly brought another that was hot, but it took so long I had already mostly finished the steak. Then, since the sour cream was now missing, it was a good five minutes or more for the return. The hamburger another ordered was not tasty, and the requested mayonnaise came after finishing. The pork chop was nothing special. The steaks were good. I have been to excellent steak places of similar cost, and this, unfortunately, is not even a close comparison. I hope we just came on an off night, but I won’t...
Read moreWe have visited the Valley Chop House a few times since they opened a few weeks ago. I had reached out to them prior and they told me many items on the menu can be made gluten free and they have a dedicated fryer. We have eaten at the bar once, awesome drinks by Nancy! And in the dining room twice, Courtney was our waitress the first time and We asked for her again- she is outstanding! The food is amazing! The steaks and sides are delicious. Chili (not GF) and the hot honey carrots were favorites. The stars were the Tomahawk and the bone in rib eye- just fantastic! Overall a terrific...
