Came here on 12/23 and ordered via the app for inside pickup. I always order for inside pickup because the drive thru at this particular location is terribly designed.
This location is in a Wal-Mart parking lot. When it was opened back around 2006 it was ok since there wasn't as much traffic coming through here. Fast forward to 2020 and this location just simply cannot keep up with the heavy traffic. The line at the speaker only fits at most two cars behind it. The rest of the cars have to position themselves in the Wal-Mart parking lot where lots of traffic is constantly coming through.
My visit on 12/23 was the worst I have had here so far. The 3 stars is only because I'm giving them credit for the great customer service I have received on other visits here. Ordering on the mobile app is usually painless and a breeze. On this particular day it was not. When I was walking up to the door there were about 3 people standing outside waiting. I asked one lady what she was waiting for and she said they shut down the inside that you have to pickup your mobile order in the drive thru. Mind you, the drive thru line is about 10 cars deep. On less busy days when there are about 5 cars waiting you can expect to be in the line for 20+ minutes. I asked the gentleman at the door if I could cancel my order and he asked for my name and I told him. He didn't cancel my order though.
A simple tip I'm going to leave for the business: don't offer mobile order pickup if you can't keep up with all of the orders coming in. Hire more people to keep the drive thru line down and please be consistent. I've been to multiple other Starbucks locations and never seen them have to randomly close the inside before.
Bottom line is Waxahachie needs more than this Starbucks location. The location inside of Target is more convenient than this one and they don't even have...
Read moreI don't go to this Starbucks location very often but everytime I do they never get my order right and I have to wait way more time than necessary for my order. My visit yesterday with my husband we ordered a Frapachino and a drip with two lemon loaf cakes and a pumpkin scone. The frap was ready first and was suppose to have mocha drizzle which it didn't so I made them correct (the label on the drink was correct) then we waited 5 more minutes before having to ask for the drip which should have been given to us as soon as we paid for our order. Then we had to ask for our baked goods which they also screwed up giving us two pumpkins scones instead of one and only one lemon loaf cake instead of two, although the labels were right on the paper containers, someone obviously can't read. There was no shortage of staff, 6 employees behind the counter and we were the only customers inside the store! I guess 5 employees were working the drive through. Both napkin containers were empty and there were no brown sugar packets out and only 3 regular sugar packets, no whole milk or 2% milk was out for the coffee and why are all the straws at the mobile order counter and none are on the sugar bar? Each time I say I am never going back to this location but after waiting 6 months or more I give them the benefit of doubt and try them again only to be disappointed time after time. No more I won't go here again. The manager of this location needs to get a grip on their staff and turn this location around, if they were a Dallas store they would have already been shut down. I had lost my favorite Starbucks mug in Branson Missouri and entered the coffee house looking to see if they had a replacement. I was approached by a GM named Cindi Stryker who asked me if she could help. I told her my story about my Starbucks 16 ounce Coffee mug I had recently lost. I had it for over eight years. She offered a replacement and based on my description she said she would find me one and have it sent to my home. She kept her promise and I received a substitute coffee mug several days later. What service! Their coffee can’t be beat and and as I travel I’ve always received excellent Starbucks service! Thank you Cindi!
