Looks like you didn’t read the entire review, as stated above the manager was spoken to and we were given a gift card although we did not want that. We just want to let everyone know ahead of time to decide for themselves if this is soemthing they would like for their experience, although the table next to us had a completely different one. I know servers change their attitude when assuming the tip they will receive from a certain kind of demographic seated. I would not like to assume but I did notice a difference in service. We will definetely not be coming back to this location.
I was taken here for my birthday by my older sibling and my family. Upon arriving and being seated, our server came to greet us by tossing over paper coasters in front of my mother. He asked for our drink and when I asked for more time he seemed a bit irritated at my request. When ordering our drinks I asked for a water, which I never got. We ordered appetizers and had to ask for side plates since they were not offered or brought. My sibling ordered drinks from the bar and never got them them throughout our entire meal, until our server came to ask if we needed anything and my sibling asked if the drinks were still being prepared, which in his response he seemed to have forgotten. Mind you, the table of two people next to us had received their drinks from the same server prior to us, although they arrived after us. Refills were also not offered until we asked and empty plates were not removed as well, until requested to do so. Food was also cold, and we have been to several locations from California, to San Antonio and Houston. This one being the least favorite. Overall his attitude was poor and when bringing it up to the manager after paying and tipping, we find out that the server, Shawn, was upset that he didn’t get to go home early. We were given a gift card, but reimbursement was not what we were looking for. On our way out two female coworkers seemed to want to escalate the situation by giving us confrontational looks. We just hope that this isn’t repeated for anyone else’s experience, it was embarrassing to brag about such a great restaurant and have to be treated this way, especially for my...

Siriachi cheese dip & chips = good but luke warm at best. Sent back for a reheat. Better.
Garlic knots = 1st round, another waiter bought out 2 of 4 w/o marinara sauce so "we didn't have to wait" for the rest that was being cooked? Uh no thanks. It's not the thought that counts if the thought is wrong. Finally got a full order with sauce... Just a ball of dough with no flavor. No garlic, no butter or parmesan cheese on them whatsoever. Sauce was bitter also. Had a few bites and left them alone. Sad.
Broccoli cheese soup = Let's call this broccoli and baseball park cheese dip. It's that thick and tastes about the same minus the nacho flavor.
Tri-tip Steak & Ribs combo = flavor on the steak was good, but wasn't terribly tender. This cut would make a good slow cooker pot roast once shredded. Ah the Ribs; good flavor but a bit too tough also. Thought I got a deal on the combo because I can't believe these ribs go for $28 for a full slab.
10" Thin Crust Pepperoni pizza (gluten free) = Couldn't get a 10" thin crust pizza any other way, and didn't know it was gluten free when eating it. Surprise, it was a good Pizza!
Service = Another disappoinment. Not sure if our waiter was too busy, but appeared to be about the same as other tables. Seemed distant form the start, but professional when he did interact with us which was very little. Had to ask another server for silverware when our food came out. And they placed an order for the wrong pizza initially so I ate my entree while they remade my wife's pizza. They did remove the Garlic Knots without us even bringing it up. We did tip well for the consideration.
Wrapping this up where I started ... Not sure exactly what they are good at......
Read moreIt's always croweded and noisy but I think you should expect that from anywhere with "Brewhouse" in the name. The food is ok - if you are looking for a dining expereince you should go to a different type of establishment. My table, siverware, and dishes have always been clean. Sometimes the menus could be less crumby or sticky but still generally clean. Love the variety of beers and the FULL bar.
All of that being considered this restaurant has always lacked customer service. My daughter and I went yesterday for a quick dinner on our way to the mall. It was just after 6 and things weren't too crazy (Friday night crowds) yet. I had to get the attention of the host and when I told him without being asked "how many" he looked at me and never said a word. He turned around and never looked my direction again. A hostess came up, spoke with him, and asked me to follow her a few minutes later.
Our server was almost as rude. He was not personable and seemed to be irritated that we had not decided on our entrees when he came back with our drinks. The portions are huge here, and we requested to-go boxes which almost sent him over the edge.
TECHNICALLY I can't say the service was bad, since we didn't have to wait a long time for anything - except I was never asked if we needed drink refills and both of us could have used a refresher. However, if you are going to be serving the public and working with people, you need to be hospitable and warm to guests. The staff we encountered were just a little snotty and rude - and each time we have been here they are...
