Gyro King — made in NYC — Restaurant in Webster

The gyro’s were great! Very fresh vegetables and the pita was soft. The meat was tender and had a good flavor. The restaurant is not big. There are about 5 small tables. The parking lot can be tricky at night, due to the big crowd at Buffalo Wild Wings. There is parking in the back. The reason I marked it off for atmosphere is because the woman’s bathroom had no toilet paper, no soap, and no paper towels. I told the two men behind the counter but the problem was not corrected.

Update to my review… I visited on 3/9/25 when the restaurant opened. They literally have a sign, from the CDC, telling you to wash your hands after using the toilet. (See pictures.) Yet, it was the same issue as before. No toilet paper, no soap, and no towels to dry your hands. Really? How are the employees washing their hands? That’s just GROSS! When I asked the male employee for some hand towels, he looked at me like he was super annoyed and didn’t say anything. The restroom was not stocked with toiletries. The owner/manager said she would take care of this problem the last time I wrote a review, but apparently it’s not...

Beyond disappointed by this location. The two employees at the front (Amber & Gloria) were difficult, rude and failed to provide basic customer service and follow basic food, health and safety guidelines. We usually go to the location in Katy and have always had an amazing experience. When asked to fix our order we got nothing but attitude in return. We asked for a fresh new plate and the staff continued to just pick out items we did not want instead of giving us new rice. They chose to argue with us and tell us they are trained to pick out what a customer doesn’t want. Just unnecessary. We asked for a refund and was told their system can’t provide us with proof of a refund…after insisting they were finally able to give us a receipt. We left without eating and drove all the way to Katy for a much better experience. Message to the manager of this location…bad customer service/rude employees will cause you to lose business and money. Maybe we caught them on an off day but I would never ever go to this...

I have been eating at this location every few weeks since moving to the area in June. The food has been pretty tasty and I really enjoy the fries. Today I ordered a lamb gyro at around 6:15. After taking several bites, I became extremely alarmed to the sensation of a mouthful of hair. Not just one strand. MANY. I have thick hair with tight curls, so I know undoubtedly that this is not mine. Im revolted. As I pick through the food Im still finding thin strands of hair. In this image (I apologize for how gross this is) you can see the bite of food I spit out and all of the hair that was in it. You can even see a drop of saliva on one of the hairs from when it was in my mouth. And then the length of the hair that I pulled out of my mouth after the bite. There was so much hair in my mouth that I had to pull it out in strings. I am absolutely disgusted, fighting the urge to throw up the few bites I swallowed, and there is no way in hell I can ever...
