Fuddruckers — Restaurant in Webster

Long time fan of this franchise. The wife and I used to eat at the Fuddruckers near fuqua about once a month and always loved it. That location shut down so the location on this review is the closest one to our house now.

We went to this new location and everything was great until about an hour after we got our food. Wife and I both got the Kobe beef burgers with fries like we always do and both of us got sick that evening.

That's never happened and Fuddruckers before so we thought maybe it was a fluke. We tried to go back to this location last night and rolled up about 45 minutes before close.

We tried to order our usual but we're told that they were out of mushrooms, cheese, bacon and 2/3 lb patties. The woman with short blonde curly hair behind the counter was super sassy when we asked what the deal was and she said "well you know we're going to close soon."

I could understand this if we had shown up 5 or 10 minutes before close, absolutely, but we still had 45 minutes before 9:00. What kind of burger place closes at 9:00 p.m. on a Friday anyway? But that's beside the point.

I asked if they had 1/3 lb patties and they said yes so I asked if they could put 2 patties together to make it a 2\3# Burger and was told simply, "no" while she looked at me like I was from another planet. Maybe they don't teach fractions in school anymore? Anyway, Much attitude. I have never ever been talked to that way by anybody at Fuddruckers before.

Super sad. We turned around and walked out and ended up getting sushi. We definitely will not be back to this location. Recommend you avoid or at least show up a full hour...

I had an experience at another Fuddrucker's that was not the best. So I sent photos in of the dirty areas and also of a potential hazard in the parking lot. I got a thank you back plus a gift card so here is hoping the manager did his/her due diligence and looked into my comments, which were given as constructive criticism.

So, we used the gift card on May 14, 2015 at this location of Fuddrucker's. Was pleased to see a person going around while we were there, cleaning up the floors. It isn't the restaurant's fault if their patrons act like pigs and leave a mess. And it was great to observe them tackling this problem right after the heavy lunch hour.

The burgers were good. And yes they were cooked medium as requested. Thumbs up.

I've always enjoyed the "dress your own burger" aspect of Fudd's as well as enjoying the quality of their hamburger buns.

I actually will buy my buns here if I am planning a party as I consider them superior to the ones in the grocery store, when I don't have time to bake my own.

Now, with respect to the chocolate shake, I've decided that I just don't like the chemical aftertaste of whatever chocolate syrup Fudd's uses. It is a sugary sweet shake. But on the plus side, should you order one, Fudd's is the only place that I know of that serves it with an over-sized drinking straw, which is so excellent, I took mine home with me for use around the house.

Update: January 2016. Still a great Fuddruckers to dine at. Clean, friendly staff, prompt service. This is still our default...

Came to try this place for the 1st time to see what all the hype is about. So I got there at 715 they close at 8. Seems like they're all n a rush to get out ove there with lights off at exactly at 8 on the dot. Wanted to try they're bison burger was told they were sold out they said all they were able to serve was kids burgers and 1/3 or 1/2 lb burgers no specialty burgers. With it being that time and drove 10 miles out to just try. I didn't want to go anywhere else. So I had a regular burger. It was ok. Then asked if i can get sweet potato fries and they also sold out of sweet potato fries. Now that tells me that they just didn't want to work at this point. So anyway I ate my food and drank me a sweet tea all in a matter of decent time. Was finished so I decided to grab me a refill on some sweet tea n behold theu done empty the tea canister mind u it still had some in it and they lady also said....oh we ran out of tea too. Hmmm I wonder who goin to the restaurant supplies/food supplier tonite or early n the morning to get all that is needed to run business appropriately without leaving paying customers unsatisfied. I will not be goin back for laziness of the workers there. I'd understand more if I went in 10 min b4 they closed but it wasn't.
