I would have given 5 stars, except for the manager of the Webster location was very rude to my father, and highly unprofessional. I eat here about once or twice a week- every week, and so do some of my family members. One day, a couple weeks ago when one of our orders was wrong, my father called up to the restaurant to let them know that His wings were one short, which isn't a big deal in itself. But when he asked to speak to the manager, not only did she refuse to give him her name several times, when asked, he also asked for a way to contact the owner/corporate and was told by this manager, who said her name was Keisha, that there "was no corporate office" to complain to. The owner's name also was not given- neither was any customer service or complaint number. It was flat out refused many times. He was told that he could bring back up his incorrect order, hand it over, and that then they would replace it with a new order with the correct amount of wings. Which, I find a little disturbing/unsanitary considering in today's pandemic times, most restaurants in my experience, when they get your order wrong, they do not want the food back, to correct the order. The next offer that she gave though, was the one that we found highly insulting and unprofessional- which she then offered to refund my dad exactly $1! All in all, it wasn't just the missing wing, it was the way this was handled so rudely and unprofessionally. The way the manager had to be asked five times in a row before she would give her name, the way that she told my father there was no corporate office he could complain to, refused to give any information about how to contact the owner, and the way that she rudely sneered that she could refund him a dollar, and that was it. I honestly feel that a refund of a dollar was simply made to be an insult, and not to try to be helpful. (Clearly one wing costs more than $1 so other than an insult, why else would she offer to refund $1?) I love this restaurant and their wings, but the app and the rewards points are always messing up, and for some reason this restaurant never gives me the receipt with the barcode on it, so that I can get my rewards points. Literally..every time this specific receipt is not given. Most of the rest of the staff is always friendly and professional. I think there is just one bad seed in the group, and that is this female manager whose name may or may not be Keisha. I've personally witnessed this woman be rude and short to other customers at the to go counter. My father was a repeat customer, but now refuses to spend another dollar at any BWW- because of how disrespected he felt, and how rudely he was spoken to. Offering a refund of $1 would be an insult to anyone - especially for as much money as our entire order cost. I have worked in retail and in restaurants, even been a manager of one in my past, and I would never have offered a customer a refund of $1, refuse to give my name, or lie to them about there being no corporate that they could complain to, or call. Furthermore, when I reached out to the customer care number who said they handle the complaints- no one ever contacted us back by phone or email. I sent a few DM's to Buffalo Wild Wings on every social media platform also, and was never responded to on there either. Love the food, but the customer service is definitely lacking at this establishment. I hope the owner of the BWW in Webster Texas sees this, so that they are aware of how their management treats customers. It seems to me some training in customer service is in order! Im never one to leave a bad review, but this person disrespected my 68 year old father, and that, I'm...
Read moreI will definitely not ever order from this location again. Every time I have ordered to go, the food has been substandard. On this occasion (last week) my husband ordered and went right to pick it up. When he brought the food home, I opened my Buffalo sandwich to inspect because it looked like they just threw it in the box and the lettuce on my sandwich was the color of a brown paper bag. My daughter ordered the same and her lettuce was the same. I decided to remove the lettuce and attempt to eat it anyways because I was hungry and the chicken was gross as well. Tried the fries and they were like rubber, tasted old and like maybe they were from the day before. The wings my husband ordered were dry like they had been over cooked. Basically all of the food we ordered was not good. I decided to call and let them know that it was probably the worst order I've ever had from there considering they charged me close to 100 bucks for some gross food. I was respectful to the manager and informed her that I was not calling to get a refund rather I wanted them to know that the cooks were sending trash out of the kitchen, at least ours anyways and the manager was like, that's weird, no one else has complained. I asked her if she was insinuating that I was lying about my order and she became defensive and snarky. She offered a refund anyways. Told me that it would be 3 to 4 days before it would go back to the card it was paid with. I understood and thanked her as I felt they were making a valid attempt to satisfy their customers. I watched the charge go from pending to posting, with no hint of a refund. I called back to talk to someone, they took my name and "transferred" me to the manager who was actually a voice-mail. I left a voice mail and have yet to hear back from them. I usually don't even write reviews but I felt like I wanted BWW to know how I felt since it seems like they don't really care how their...
Read moreWe will never be eating here again, unless we feel like getting ill.
Our party of 4 dined here yesterday and 2 of our group got food poisoning. My partner got sick about 3 hours after eating, and it continued into the night but I thought maybe it was something else since I had been fine. That was until I found out that others in our group also got ill and had diarrhea and had been throwing up just like he was.
I called the restaurant to let them know. I did not ask for a refund, or demand an explanation, or literally anything other than trying to tell them what happened. The manager was dismissive, combative, and rude before I even got to try and explain what had occurred. When I stated two of our party got sick from the food, she stated it was impossible “because they cook their chicken to 205” . This shows just how little their management staff knows about food safety… I had asked about if they cooked with raw chicken, the risk for cross-contamination, about their storage methods, vendor reliability and safety, and she had no further thoughts other than “it’s impossible because we cook our chicken to 205”. There is no restaurant that can claim food illness is impossible. It is preventable, but in no way is it at BWW with this level of education regarding HACCP and safety/sanitation. I asked the manager if she was going to look into anything, which she said she’d let the GM know, but she offered no resolution other than that. I would expect at minimum an apology, questions about the scenario, even for her to check our tab to see what we ordered.
This was extremely unfortunate as we have been going to this location a lot since moving here, but we absolutely will never return after this level of dismissiveness and unprofessionalism. I would highly recommend they retrain their staff on professional standards and customer service, and more so on safety...
