Yikes. I’m assuming this franchise is on its last legs.
I showed up for lunch and the place was dark. From the outside, it looked closed. Even as I walked up to the door, I was expecting it to be locked…but it was open. The entire place was empty. Zero customers. Inside, the lights were off, but most of the tvs were on. There’s “mood lighting,” and then there’s “turn off as many lights as possible to save money, since we have no customers anyway.” This location practiced the latter.
I waited a couple minutes for a host to wander up to the station to seat me. I knew there were employees in the building because I heard echoes of voices in the back behind a counter. After a couple minutes, a host walked around the corner, seemed surprised to see me and said, “Would you like a seat?” I almost laughed at the unintentional humor of the question. I guess he was shocked to see a customer. I asked for a bar seat. Again: empty bar, no one behind the counter. I could hear employees in the back goofing off. Eventually a bartender emerged to take my drink order.
The beer was flat.
I glanced at the menu, decided what to order…and then waited, and waited…and waited. The place was empty, but I still had to wait for the bartender to return from the back to take my order.
After placing my order, the food arrived quickly (I would hope so, as I was the only one in the place!): a dry chicken sandwich. The Nashville hot sauce was just barely squeezed onto the sandwich instead of covering it. And it certainly was not hot. The fries were hard, overcooked, and under seasoned. I would say the food was KFC or Popeyes quality, except those fast food places have upped their game recently, so this was a bit worse. I can’t believe how far BWW has fallen.
And then for the kicker, I received the check: 19 bucks and change! For a mediocre chicken sandwich, a handful of stale fries, and a flat beer. No wonder this place was empty.
I will certainly never come back to this location (although I doubt they will be in business much longer, considering all these red flags), and I really don’t know if I plan to return to any...
Read moreProbably the worst experience EVER had at a restaurant! I've had issues before with Buffalo Wild Wings such as cold food, forgetting my order, and half of wings not coated in dry rub(so I had basically wings with no seasoning). These are all issues I've had in the past with them. Why do I come back? That is a good question.
My wife and I order food and get an appetizer. We also ordered drinks. Finished the appetizer and was like another 20 minutes waiting for wings. My food comes out and it's cold. Literally no heat coming from the food. I ask the waitress to please make some new wings because I'm not eating that. My wife said somebody poked their head out and looked our direction. 2 minutes later, my food gets dropped off from the manager. I commented on how quick you can make wings. I used to work at a restaurant myself. There is NO WAY you cook wings that fast. I told him about my prior experiences at Buffalo Wild Wings and he assures me that these were just cooked. Looked me right in my eyes and told me this after I explained everything to him.
So.....I bite into the wing and it's a fricken cold boneless wing with warmed up sauce on the outside! I don't know if the manager had the cooks put it in the microwave and put an extra handful of fresh fries on the plate thinking I wouldn't know? Warm up some sauce and have them resauce the wings? Common man!!!
Manager just lied to my face and basically sealed the deal on me EVER going back to Buffalo Wild Wings til the day I die! I understand mistakes happen in a kitchen. I wasn't obnoxious or anything I just wanted fresh food. Is that too much to ask?
I guess Wing Stop from now on.
Furthermore, I get a stock answer telling me to waste my time even more and fill out a FAQ from afterwards. SMDH. This is why your service sucks!!! I just...
Read moreDo not go to this B Dubs if you value your health or money. Was recently let go as a bartender/server for walking out due to the terrible management/ work conditions. Nothing is being done to combat the fruit fly INFESTATION besides a few spritzes of spray that only one manager infrequently does. They are EVERYWHERE. I’ve been told by management to “just dump it out and repour it” when flies come OUT OF THE BEER TAP. The place is filthy from the floors to the bathrooms and no one cares. As long as Tony (GM) gets to keep cashing his checks this place will continue to be a dump. I’ve witnessed employees drinking on the clock, openly talking badly about customers, heard them complaining about taking tables with people of color because they thought they wouldn’t tip, seen the freezer doors left wide open with the temperatures inside well higher than the safe zone. People consistently sent back forks that were unclean because of the laziness that plagues 90% of the workers there. (I’ve literally watched people knowingly mess up orders and send it out anyways saying “let’s see if they notice”). Management has no back bone when it counts but tries to make examples out of people who are fed up. Just look at all the other reviews. I’m not just a jaded employee, I’m someone with firsthand experience dealing with this place and in my honest opinion they need to close it down, evaluate/ replace some of their management, and do a hard reset. This place used to be a staple in west allis but now it’s quite literally a dump. I feel bad for anyone who spends their hard earned money on this joke of an establishment. Attached is just a screenshot from a video I took at the bar rail. And trust me when I say this is no where near...
