I booked a party for my son’s 3rd birthday for 7/5/2025. When booking the party at the end of June, I called and asked after making the reservation,” If all children did not show up would I able to remove any at that time. I was told I would be able to remove. I was told only two could be removed due to it being a six kid minimum. I was fine with that when contacted to confirm the time date and number of children. I also asked the young lady who I confirmed reservation with, that with it being a holiday weekend if I needed to remove children, would I be able to do so she stated the same thing. Yes, I will be able to remove up to two children with their being a six children minimum, including the birthday boy. Fast-forward to the day of the party. Upon arriving, I was greeted by the host, once we got back to the section. The party host told us the time and activity for the itinerary and at that time I also asked him because the two children were not going to come “at what point do I remove the two children? He stated he would ask his manager and get back to me but before he go, can he have my pizza order the order he said the package comes with two medium pizzas (8 slices and for kids) and one large I told him what I would like, and he walked away. When he came back, he had pizzas in hand and notified me that if I wanted to remove the two children, I needed to give him the hats the lifetime cups the two wristbands the plates for those two children that were not going to attend and they will be Removed When he returned with my bill after the party was supposed to end. I noticed that I was still being charged the same amount that I was quoted with the extra two kids. when asked why he explained because if I was removing two kids that should have removed an entire medium pizza, I explained to him each child would have received two slices of pizza, which means there were only four additional slices of pizza not an entire medium pizza. He said that he will talk to his manager and he would get back to me. The manager then comes to me and say well you’re being charged for a whole medium pizza because those two children did not show up. I stated to the manager if I have been told that the pizza needed to be removed in order not to be charged for those two children I would have done so like I did the other items, the host told me what I needed to do to get those two children removed and I did it so I don’t feel like I should be charged for an extra medium pizza when in reality, there was only four slices of pizza that would have been considered extra and I have that in a Togo plate so I can give them that and not be charged. She stated no the host gave you the wrong information but you still have to pay for a whole(8 slices) pizza. I told her I didn’t feel that was right she basically said o well. The security guard then walks up and asked the young lady I was speaking with “is you good” mind you I was showing not a ounce of aggression maybe a little confusion but no aggression at all because for one my children are around and for two other people children are around I know how to conduct myself. I then walked away because for the security guard to walk up and ask that and I wasn’t aggressive at all, didn’t use not one curse word or anything rubbed me the wrong way so I went to get my debit card. When I return there is another customer at the counter and the young lady is not explaining my situation to a lady in a red shirt and the security guard. Very unprofessional with another customer standing in front of them as if it was about the amount when in fact it was about the principal, misinformation given and not doing what would have been the right thing to do and that was remove the extra pizza off my bill because it was their employee error. I visit this location often because my son really enjoys CEC but I will not return to that location at all. I live in menomonee falls, WI and the drive to West Allis location was a 32 minute drive to be treated unfair and cheated. Very very unsatisfied with...
Read moreThe other manager Angie is no better than Kayla. Every time I come here there is some bs about how the ticket limit has been reached and she can't add tickets. Not only that but she brought her daughter to work and had her sitting behind the counter. I am pretty sure that is not company policy. She told me not to come back to her location because I told her I only came to her location since it had a slide and brookfield didnt. She yelled and hollered that she could not break company policy but im pretty sure company policy doesn't allow you to bring your 2 or 3 yr old to work. You need to hire some better managers at this location because the games are always broken. The managers and employees are always rude and games are always broken. Managers are constantly on their phones and not working and having personal conversations and allowing friends to sit behind the scenes while on the job. For someone who is preaching company policy I am pretty sure Angie is breaking all of them by texting on her phone, hav8ng her daughter behind the prize counter, having a friend sit with her while watching trampoline zone and eating when she is supposed to be watching my son. The 2 times I paid for adventure zone he got hurt and injured by other kids and despite my complaining nothing was done. I would like someone to contact me about the injuries and experience.
PAST EXPERIENCES:I usually avoid west allis due to old manager Kayla (see below for her behavior). so another incident at this location with same manager with an attitude named Kayla. She intentionally made me wait at the register when there was a line behind me and rather than give me the dipping dots flavor the promotion was she told me they were iut of stock and then gave me a diff flavor and then wasted the cookies and cream when i asked if i cud have chocolate chip instead. She didnt use gloves when getting ice cream out and when i asked her to not waste the ice cream and that i wud just take it she through away the ice cream in the trash. What waste when there are people starving and she is blatantly wasting food. I did want to call out some of the great employees I met today. I honestly wish Tim and Samantha were there everytime. They are amazing and deserve a raise. Loretta in the kitchen also did amazing making out food to perfection. I still think the manager Kayla is a joke. The other day when I repeated my visit to this llcation, she tried to accuse me of kidnapping my own child. She knew who I was from the 20 times I have been there with my husband and father and son. She tried to stop me as i was leaving for proof and i told her my phone was dead. Technically no one was even there to greet us or stamp us. This location forces people to take selfies but no one was there that day so i just walked in with my son and father. I had approached her to load my card with my son so she knew me yet still tried to give me a hard time as i was leaving.
She should not be in customer service with her condescending attitude. It shows when you are desperate you will hire just about anyone off the street even if they don't know the first thing about customer service. I don't know where to begin with her attitude or her accusing my one year old of lying and then refusing to check cameras when I told her to if she thought my son didn't win jackpot. I will never renew my membership at this location or any other because of my experience today. Worst kind of employee a corporation could hire. All around dirty, unhygenic, and rude and disgusting location. Go to Dave and Busters before...
Read more(Update): June-2018 had another great time with the family. The earlier you go the better. They did some remodeling and put a ton of new games in and took a bunch of the old ones out - looks really good!!!
March-2018 Had a great time with the family. Went on a saturday around "brunch" time 11-1130ish. Started to get crowded around 245-3ish. Customer service was great, was greeted right away with a smile. The employee at the front counter was really nice and friendly. Answered any questions i had WITHOUT any attitude. Pricing is great (go with minutes instead of points - minutes are more worth your money) for 2 hours its $30+tax (mintues are unlimited play - points are like tokens). All the food was delicious and HOT and served in a timely manner. Ordered a 1-topping pizza its 25+tax 4 drink cups are included with multiple refills. Pizza was great. They also have stuffed crust pizza too. Also ordered the larger app sampler and it was great - came with wings, cheesy bread, fries, celery sticks, and regular bread sticks - also came with 4 sauces ketchup, marinara, ranch, and bleu cheese (cheesy bread was my favorite) cant remebered the price (if i had to guess it probably was around 13+tax). The bathrooms were pretty decent and didnt have that damp moldly smell. Have alot of games for all ages big or small. Careful not all the games give...
